    Bean curd skin for tong sui

    Anyone knows where can I get the bean curd skin for making tong Sui? Craving for the gingko barley tong Sui...

    Many types, some soften and dissolves, suitable for tong Sui.
    Some are meant for Yong tau Fu so more hardy.
    Best is to go to market and the stall that sells dry food normally can recommend which is for which. I can't tell just by the looks.

    The big broad piece one. Everywhere oso hv. Giant, carre4, ss15 market...

    Add wintermelon, quill bird egg, chicken egg... Even best serve chill.

    Thanks. Will ask around the supermarket. I was told there are ones that are specially for dessert as it is not oily..

    Actually i dun hv recipe.... Just throw everything in n boil

    Soak ginko seed w hot water for few hour. Wash barley.

    Cook quail egg, remove shell.

    Boil wntermelon sugar tong kua tong,, gingko, barley, red dates until boiling in the pot. Water about 3 big bowl or more. Ingredient how much depend for how many...

    See if barley is soft, if it is add flat broad thin pieces bean curd and crack in an egg or two. Stir. Watch the fire. This stage can boil out of pot.

    Wait to boil then add quail egg. Add rock sugar till enuf sweet but tong kua tong already sweet. Up to u.

    Wait till cool then put in fridge.... Tummy!
