Wee Ka Siong said "I'll quit if that solve teacher shortage problem.".

Hmm... why not the correct way of responsible "You should quit if you can't solve the teacher shortage problem."?

The root of the problem is to sack the incompetent officers and the rot always starts from the head. So, which is the head gonna to roll first?
In Bolehland, which head actually roll off or cut off due to incompetence? In fact, the only heads that roll off are competent persons like Teresa Ratnam Chong, Rajiv and many others .

Your idea will not be accept by them, they not only wish to learn the mother tongue language as a subject in school, but to learn every single subject using their mother tongue language. That's what SJK(C) and SJK(T) do, they teach every subjects including science, math, moral, BM, English, Mandarin, music & sports all in their own mother tongue language.

You just can't please everybody in this country.

That extreme stand is kind of overreacting to short-sighted education national policy, poorly implemented world-class ideas and lack of broad-minded leader with statemanship

I tried to look for the 325 news from Star on Monday…
I couldn’t find one single sentence reporting the 325 gathering in the Star !!!

It really opened my eyes to see a newspaper can degrade to such pariah level – solely functioning for the political interests of the owner..

All that can be seen is that the BN regime is systemically eliminating the teaching of Mandarin among the Chinese who value and treasure the language as an important global language, a language being sought after even by the Malays and the Indians as well. This has happened for 40yrs, and hence there is no longer any excuse for not having enuf teachers. MCA is under the threat of the 'ketuanan' bosses of UMNO. After so many years of equal 'partnership' in ruling the country, and as coalition member with UMNO, they are being slowly boiled like the proverbial frog.

Now, u can see that MCA political leader symbolically being rejected because they have not solve a problem that has transcended for more than a generation. Though MCA has achieved some breakthroughs such as the setting up TAR College and elevating it's sister tertiary institution to university status, it has however not been able to solve a basic education problem faced by their own people who they claim to represent.
War does not determine who is right, it determines who is left.
Do u have any contribution to make on the SJ/USJ Traffic Problems?
