no no..2 hrs from the time of entry upon validation. BTW, I think you get 2hrs free if you spend RM50 at the Library. the sign says 2 hrs Free for RM50 on a single receipt. they did not specify it must be from Giant. So you can shop in giant then drive out within the 2hrs then reenter for another 2 hrs if you decide to dine in..but please ask at the validation counter for clarification.

oic. Then, I would be rushing mad .. 2 hours are simply not enough for me to complete my weekly grocery.

I was in Carrefour this afternoon for less than 3 hours, did my grocery shopping & had a stress free parking with no charge. It has been ages since I saw the car park this empty. So, cheers to the carrefour team to solve your patron's parking woes!

It that means many ppl park there for ages for free but not shop in c4 .Looking forward to do our monthly grocies this afternoon.C4 management did the right thing...but maybe change to 1/2 hour instead 15min.

Why not give the whole 3 hours upon validation.

Spoke to their supervisor today and he said the management had received similar feedback that 15mins grace period is too short and that they are looking into extending to 30mins ..
.. This shows that they are listening to the customers alright. I love shopping in carrefour now, no need to turn round and round looking for carpark.

If you are a shopper you don't really need 3 hours in Carrefour. So I think it is fair for Carrefour to charge if you don't spend more than RM30 for 3 hours free parking. Ever since they implemented the charge, I had no problem finding a parking lot at whatever hours and I love the convenience of the covered carpark.

There is a smaller Carrefour in USJ 19 City Mall which the management charges RM2 per entry. This I would say is ridiculous and exorbitant as you can't eat or shop the whole day in that half occupied complex.

Shopping was i breeze on Sat afternoon,i can select which parking space i want!...but C4 was abit rundown to lowest with all the kiosk around selling nobody-want-to-buy products..

I never had problems looking for parking at Care4 even before the parking fees implementation ... just DRIVE UP ONE MORE FLOOR, all car parks available, spoilt for choice .....

My wife said, since Care4 has "discouraged" casual, random shopping with the parking fee ... now, we only go when they have SALE PROMOTION of goods that we are after, otherwise, not bothered to drop in anymore since we buy our FRESH products (vege and meat) from Jusco .... LUCKILY there are still plenty of McDonalds kiosks around for my fix of sundaes !!

My wife said, since Care4 has "discouraged" casual, random shopping with the parking fee ... now, we only go when they have SALE PROMOTION of goods that we are after, otherwise, not bothered to drop in anymore since we buy our FRESH products (vege and meat) from Jusco .... Its coming up to a month now....I've been shopping for groceries at local provision shops [fresh food had always been at the market]....so I'm deprived of choices, but that has helped save on those unnecessary stuff I'd usually pile into the trolley.

As I said in earlier post....I've got no qualms about paying the buck or two....its just the inconvenience of it all....not when I can get the same stuff at almost the same price just around the corner.

Support Your Local Grocer
