Expensive treatment that doesn't work

Man pays RM30,000 but loses kidneys.

How can one tell the difference between a genuine sinseh from one who is just a doktor quak?
Or is this merely plain stupidity?

With TCM to be available at govt clinics this year (in selected gov clinics), wud this kind of treatment pose any danger, just like in this case?

Sad but true, we live in a small country with countless con jobs happening anywhere and so often, very unbecoming of an independent nation that good values seem to go nowhere.
See another piece of news how devious and opportunistic minds lurk and try to scam the guillible. As I mentioned, we live in a small country, local media will sensationalize this kind of news easily. Its true everyone just have to be on the alert and not fall for con jobs and scam.

There is no lack of exortic happenings, sponsored CBTs and the likes, criminal intimidation, kidnappings, drug trafficking, murders, illegal logging and illegal deforestation, gov-funded politically link businesses, opportunists, political manoeuvres, bailouts, just to name a few, are no strangers in this land.

Someone who claims to be able to cure and incurable disease is either a future Nobel Prize winner or a present conman.

Over the years I've heard so many 3rd party individuals with spiritual and traditional cures claiming to specialize curing a very common sinusitis nasal disorder, in BM its called "penyakit resdung".
Their prowess and reputation in the cure is usually by word of mouth or at best sensationalized in the papers one time or another.
Boleh caya kah?... Malaysia continue to live and thrive on..... You tell me.
