Scouting for a new dinner venue

There's a birthday coming in couple of days & would like some ideas for Chinese dinner venues.

These places are the good ones so far for me: Dragon Star - Kg Tunku, X Frens- SS18, Greenview -SS2, Richwell- SS2 oredy tapau, a restaurant near Subang Airport road side (forgot the restaurant name).

    Thanks

Dragon star is nice, went there once for a 60yr b/day.For a venue located there, would be tapau if the food is no good.Opposite airport food is lousy and expensive.Ask for a free fruits after spending RM450 also don't give.So complain to the chef,

And went to dragon star less than 2 weeks ago for another birthday function so any other ideas please...

Yes, been there once many many years ago. I think food is decent, environment is average - similar to Richwell type. How about Moon Palace at IOI boulevard - it's a new chinese restaurant mainly run by ex-Overseas restaurant staff? Pricing may perhaps be higher than Gold Dragon but very plush and nice food.

Well, can't help it IF the wife cooks great currymee while the hubby is a great taichow cook esp for the "marmite chicken", steam eggs and vegetables esp "yew mak" .... - tried so many other places but in the end, this is the best spot for my family and I
