    Hanoi

    was deciding either to Krabi or Hanoi for jalan jalan. never regretted going to Hanoi.

    1. first thing was of course to try local bia


    2. and local delicacies


    3. the very delicious beef rice noodles


    4. rice wraps with chicken


    5. taufu and rice noodles


    6. fried banana and sweet potato


    7. bbq by the road side

    on the streets of Hanoi. there are 4mil bikes in the city!

    went to Halong Bay but it was very foggy

    also went to Tam Coc known as Halong Bay on Land. it was very beautiful but unfortunately it was very foggy and my pics didn't do it any justice

    tracked the railway along the old quarters. the track is just next to the buildings and shops.

    I absolutely ADORE Hanoi...........very laid back. But the traffic can be @#$%^ !!!!!

    I avoided the roadside food as I was not willing to succumb to "stomach disorder" later on. But was adventurous enough to go for the cobra meal ! As for roasted dog meat, errrrr.......not to my appetite.

    Anyway, nice pic Mick............. and I do plan to go there again.........
