I was away and missed the event. Glad to be able to see the Himpunan Hijau photos here, Mick! Any tear gas or water cannon? Did the police get rough with the protesters? More photos?

yellow is banned while green is not :P

no seriously, yellow is the Bersih colour while the green is Himpunan Hijau colour. Bersih calls for clean and fair election while Himpunan Hijau is a green movement to protest against the setting up of the rare earth refinery in Kuantan. how is the news on this company in WA?

Not much news here except the mine is in Mount Weld, in a very very remote place, 730km east-northeast of Perth.

Weld mine is now the largest source of rare earth elements outside of China but some reports say it is the riches known deposit of rare earths in the world.

I think it is exported through Fremantle port.

It is listed in the Oz Stock Exchange & price is climbing.

There is no black out here.

I am talking about Lynas Australia news.

In fact, there are a lot of Lynas Malaysia news which are similar to what you see there.
