Time to strike this item out from the food list. It's not like there are no other types of food.
"One man's running dog is another man's lapdog, but still a dog."
I've struck out all these chain joints long ago because its become rediculously expensive as time goes on and value goes downhill.
I even encourage all my kin and keturunan NOT to patronize these joints where possible, even if they wanna belanja me. Can buy better food elsewhere.
I don't think we as Malaysians understand this at all, and in the same time we aspire to be a developed nation by 2020. Developed does not just mean in material sense. Culture and behavior have to follow.
Regardless who is at fault, and what was mentioned, there should never be any violence. To those who supported violence or even think it is remotely acceptable to be violent for whatever reason, you are no better than the worst scum in the world. Sounds harsh, but that is the fact.
Back to this case. I work in the financial service industry, and in this case, while the firm may deny anything it wants, it is still the firm’s fault. The employee represents the firm. Clients may not be right all the time, but you cannot mistreat them at all, let alone by being physical. Period. You may reject the opportunity to have any business with a rowdy client, but not this.
Reading this news really got me annoyed that we still have this type of behavior, let alone idiots who support such behavior. And I do not apologize for my statement.
I sometimes think for decades, Malaysian food chain restaurants doesn't grasp the actual concept or consistent practice of "fast food" morever known to be exactly that in practice.
I learnt fast food is simply food thats very quickly prepared to the best of the establishement knowhow and expertise, consistently achieved in the fastest possible time from the time of order to the time you physically consume it, minus any queing time obviously.
Its common to find inconsistencies in some places where instances of "will send to your table, have to wait for some item to be cooked, finished or not available. To wait for many minutes from time of order or poor quality served is rubbish management and entirely the fault of the restaurant. I'm sure all those reputable and well known food chains no matter where they are all have standard operating proceedures, constant training and quality control which I'm sure all are tried and proven methods. This is Malaysia. Frequent foul ups are accepted as a norm as this is considered 3rd world, doesn't matter much, half hour wait isn't any issue. No feedback or complaints is likely semua ok.
BTW, V2020 is someone's fantasy and delusion. It won't happen!
People lose their 'cool' all over the world....and 'gangsters' or, for that matter 'mad-men' are found everywhere...even at this KFC in the suburb of Punchbowl just outside Sydney
Here a customer remained 'cool' as he was being told that they do not serve 'bacon' in this Halal KFC joint and as he start to record the incident, one worker loses his 'cool' saying 'Don't record me'.....Wonder why? Maybe he doesn't like cameras?![]()
Anyway, the moral here is.... this sort of thing can happen anywhere, even in Australia too, and guess what, the 'explosive KFC employee' got 'Suspended' too
Follow up to the incident...
KFC assault victim denies provoking attack
And for those who understand, here's the untranslated Chinese version...CLICK HERE
So now we wait for KFC's response
Just a few disturbing thoughts.......
Funny how in Bolehland, every complaint one has needs to be handled by Political parties for resolution....
And something odd and disturbing noticed on the YouTube site. The English version has 1400+ dislikes as compared to 500+ likes, However, the Chinese version has only 150+ likes and 50+ dislikes. You will notice the views are hung at around 300, which is normal in YT for new videos...will update later. What's disturbing is the vast disparity in 'dislikes'...this is not healthy....hopefully people are not 'losing the plot' here - that this is nothing other than a case of bad management
The staff said - Sudah habis , habis lah. Babi ah?
And the reporters were asking why wait so long for the chicken?
And the wife of the customer were kicked by the staff too?
But most amazing of all, how come KFC outlets have weapons of destruction like a steel bar? As Old Mean ExChef, I am still wonder what is steel bar for - to tenderize the chicken or terrorizing the customers?![]()

damn.... makes you wonder if KFC stands for Kentucky Fried Chicken or KUNG FU Chicken... sheeeez!!
Unfortunate that this situation will be exploited by political parties.
It will turn into C vs M. Who is the person responsible for employing thugs in the first place. Is it the outlet manager ? If so then he will be the directly responsible for their action. How the manager handled the irate customer complaint leaves a lot to be desired.
or...
