You must be walking very near the dog. All dogs should be treated with respect because they are unpredictable. In other words, keep your distance. The dog went for you because it thought you were a threat to its owner. Did anyone ever told you? Never look a dog in the eye unless it is one of yours. That's an open threat.
And you shouted at them too, eh?
Actually I took the same path twice weeekly(regular routine) to get to USJ 14(location of bus stop). The dog was moving slowing towards me and initially was standing next to the owner & neither barking or showing any aggresive behaviour nor anything of that sort. Once the lady owner saw what the dog was doing she quicky came & restrained the dog plus apologise for the dog's behaviour.I am all for animal rights but dogs once out the house must be leashed at all times.I did not shout at the dog at that time unlike the small dog that was between USJ 13 & 18.It was moving towards me & showing it's teeth.
Have A Nice Day
Saw some dog catchers inside the fenced grounds of USJ 11/3 just this. They got some dogs. The dogs were inside the fence so won't get much chance to run. As much as I understand that this pack can be dangerous, my heart goes out to them and the fate that awaits them. They are what they are because of blockheads!Their instincts are just to survive from day to day. Alas..it may mean aggression and consequently, elimination...just because we humans are more superior...sigh.
Don't just stand there, join in the confusion
Date : 17-7-2012

Remark: The owner left the small dog to run around in a small area. He was standing nearby.
Have A Nice Day
