    Dogs Wandering Around

I am a bonafide dog lover as I have 3 dogs of my own. I love them like my own children and don't ever let them out of my sight whenever they are out of my house.

However, where I live at Usj 3/4a , we can see dogs wandering round the streets every now and then. And some of these dogs have collars with license on it (meaning they have an owner). Those dogs hang around and start chasing those poor grass cutters, barking at other dogs or at the garbage collectors. This is a nuisanse to the neighbourhood.

I encountered several times with dogs with no tags while passing through USJ 13. The latest being I shouted at the top of my lungs and charged at the animal after it came straight at me.

Actually it was on a Sunday & I was on my to USJ 19 Mall. I have seen those dogs before, seating under the tree. When I shout loudly & charged at them, they ran off. One or two of them even entered the housing area at night.

On a Friday afternoon, I was going home walking by the side of the road when a dog rushed straight out from a iside a house. If not for the locked gate, the dog would have went straight for my leg.

While walking with the missus the other day, a small flurry dog ran aggressively towards my wife and barked furiously. We were sure that dog was going to bite her. So, I got ready to kick that dog to kingdom come. I could see it in my mind this piece of flurry ball flying through the sky. It was either that small smut or my wife's pretty leg. But unfortunately before I can use my shaolin kung fu kick on that little fellow, the owner shouted at the dog which quickly ran back. Moral of the story? Kick first before the owner appears.

A pet dog that is out of the house must be leashed.

CS Chua, what is with you and kicking small animals ? I can't believe that you actually pictured the whole kicking scenario in your mind ... I would defend my wife too against all threats and aggressions but I wouldn't be so imaginative about it ....

No wonder they are so many pet abuse cases around ....

There was once I passing through USJ 13 on the way to USJ 14. I was about to walk out of USJ 13 when a dog that was outside a house rush towards me & barking very loudly. Immediately I shouted very loud & charged towards the dog which ran inside a house nearby of which the gate was open. By that the occupants of that house came out to have a look.

Yesterday afternoon, I was passing by USJ 13 on the way to 14 when I encountered a dog not far form a house with an opened gate. The dog started barking at me & came closer. I shouted very loudly & was about to charged at the dog when it ran into the house. A few times, I do encountered packs of stray dogs while on my way to USJ 14 in the early morning.

    An Incident

Just now(late morning), I reached almost the plaground to USJ 13 when a medium sized dog standing next to its owner turn around & went for my leg. Luckily the owner quickly turned around & restrained it and apologised. When the dog turned around, I actually felt the tip of its claws.
