Time To Entertain The Nephews and Nieces Yet?

It is still more than a week before CNY and I have already got two calls from nephews asking if I am going to "open table" soon to play the annual gameof 3 dices of crabs, centipedes, prawns, cockerels etc

Adoi, these nephews and nieces are beginning to turn out to be gamblers already at such young age! Lost their RM2 capital already crying so have to give baxk for them to win back their money! If they win, they laugh at me and go home happy as a pig in the mud, like a toad in the rain!

But at least I know culture and tradition runs well in myfamily haha! I too played these gams including Sarm Ceong (3 cards) when youngbut I never turned out to bea gambler?

Ho Year of Dragon, this uncle is gonna be breathing fire again and continue to instill culture and traditions in the younger generatio s... Okay guys, roll the dices...

For the 7yrs old to 12yrs old young 'uns: lowland Black jack ~ Ah Pek play with 2 cards opened

For the Open class low land Black Jack ~ Ah Pek play with 1 card open and 1 card openly 'chart' for all to see...the pure joy of Ah Pek 'already winning' when the gambling crowd goes shouting in unison "Ah Kong! Ah Kong! Ah Kong! " and a dismay "AHHHHHH!!!! su leow!!!!!"

For the selective teenagers & young adults ~ 'Chor Tai Ti', 'Sar ki Pai', 'Ngau' and also Mahjong are stadard fare lah..also when the Very senior like 90yr old Grandpop, it will be a selected4some to play 'connect the skeletons'

Yup, its a Open Casino for all. Kool innit? Yo! Genting & Sands, cry thy eyes out!

Ha Ha Ha Currymee, unfortunately they do not know how to count from 1 to 10 properly yet. So we play this game using pictures. The only counting they do is whether 1, 2 or 3 fishes appeared on the rolled dices and thus they are paid their bets once, twice or three times the amount!

    Bets maximum 20 cents.

These are all between 2+ to 6+ nephews and nieces... I have 7 siblings so you know the number of nieces and nephews lah...

Ya lah, once-a-year thinghy... last year a 2+ year-old nephew lost all his RM2 simply because he kept betting on his favorite animal ie the Chwab (Crab) but unfortunately for him, the crab was not a winner. So he went sulking behind the settee, so had to give him back his RM2 for him to play... but the stubborn fella still bet on Chwab!!! I guess determination runs in the family tree hahaha!

I like Chwab mah... velli nice mah...
