Oops, sorry those bin are for renovation debris, which cost RM3XX, you don't need that. If you just have some large furniture to dispose, just call Alam Flora to arrange a lorry to pick up, the fee around RM60. Contat info can be found at their website http://www.alamflora.com.my
Can I suggest Saudara Rajiv say something or look into this?
I've observed and sometimes seen items being quietly dumped their old sofa, furniture, rotten big items by the roadside around USJ.
This isn't a healthy trend. The last time I threw out my sofa was cut it up to bits and pieces, and throw them into public waste bin at a nearby kampung.
Or I suppose, SUbang folk are perceived as kaya punya orang and can afford to pay for other private disposal services.
In the near future, I was thinking of buying a new mattress and how to dispose the old one leh?
If you furniture is in quite good condition, why not donate it to Jumble Station in Angsana Flats,USJ 1.Cheers
I think people throw out those that are beyond economical repair and unfit for recycling.
Those on the roadside could be used for firewood though, if can.
Some years ago, I quickly salvaged a table desk that was thrownout maybe because someone renovated the home and buying new furniture. I refurbished it, applied another varnish color, polyurethane lacquer, and it now sits in my home looking like an exquisite piece.
Thats the thing with sofa's and upholstered furniture. Its costly to reupholster when these kind of items are said to be easily "beyond economical repair". Of course it doesn't apply to antiques or highly valued furniture.
