For BM - yes, SK level is about 6 months to 1 year "ahead" syllabus-wise and this is reflected in the special treatment at UPSR exam, where SK-level UPSR BM, students automatically go to Secondary school whether pass/fail ... but for SJKC/SJKT BM papers, if less than grade C, must go through REMOVE classes.

For Science and Maths, syllabus and content wise - NO DIFFERENCE but ....

Staring from 2011, with the scrapping of PPSMI - Science and Maths are fully taught in BM (for SK), Mandarin (SJKC) and Tamil (SKJT), so the medium of delivery is different ....

and ................ WELCOME TO MALAYSIA'S "BETTER THAN USA and other Western countries" EDUCATION SYSTEM (according to BN Education Minister ).....
