They closed the parking for renovation previously. Look brighter now. They also installed ticket machines so I guess they're collecting parking fees soon. Anyone know the charges?

some aunties told me its going to be Rm 1 per entry. I personally wouldnt mind paying RM 1 for a good security car park. Cheap good care for my car!
They charge parking, I AIN'T GOING THERE ANYMORE!, besides I've always said, they're ALWAYS ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD!
RM1 onli uncle..Why so kiap siap one...RM1 can only buy u one egg nowadays what...parl roadside kena saman then u have to fast for 300 eggs..
lets hope its Rm 1, if they charging parking fee like pyramid, then i would cut down going there. I contributed Rm 9 to Sunway group parking yesterday.![]()
A couple of days ago, I was at the Jalan Jengka traffic lights (opposite Subang Parade) waiting for the red light to turn green. On my left were double storey terrace houses. (SS 17)
I saw a family of three park their car opposite the houses and was speculating which house they're about to enter. To my surprise, they headed for Jalan Kemajuan, crossed the road and proceeded to walk past Subang Parade.
By this time, the traffic light turned green so I was on my jolly way.
I saw the same family at the Empire Shopping Gallery not ten minutes later.
That was some distance to walk to avoid paying the parking. The sky was rather gloomy that day too. I respect people who would walk that extra distance to save a few dollars. I wish I have the resolve to do the same.
It's not the RM1 or so that some are trying to save. I am sure they can well afford it! Sometimes it's the hassle of finding a parking space in those complexes and avoiding the queue when coming out. Sometimes, in fact most of the time, they are faster in entering and exiting the complex than us ordinary folks who follow the proper way. How, I know? I used to do it last time!
Parking charges is one modern trend that'll increase COL naturally with car ownership. Its a worldwide trend but the trouble with this land, is little authoritive control and streamlining, people will be at the mercy of cutthroats and opportunists who take advantage of a circumstance or situation and make blatant profit. Second, In many places there's little or clear signage to inform people of incurred charges. THIS HAVE TO BE STREAMLINED more effectively and forcefully, for fair view of ALL and give a choice to anyone deciding on parking at that location.
Whether anyone thinks its all right or wrong, no doubt it may seem a worldwide trend in many countries, still you form your own conclusion. Anyone have a right of view and opinion. Its also not the business of anyone to accuse anyone else "stingy, koo hon, whatever". People are people and there's all sorts of people with their own decision in living their lives how one spends their money.
I am more tempted to think that Carrefour may exercise a "free parking" IF you spend more than RM10 in the shop (like what Jusco in IOI Mall) to discourage free-parking to Subang Parade and KTM station.

i think C4 try to curb ppl from parking their car there and go to work somewhere as it is free parking! I use to shop my groceries there every Sat at 4pm but finding a parking is like striking a loterry. My neighbor works in SP but park the car there for whole day for free!I think C4 should be given free parking to serious shoppers only. most shoppers there are going for sundries and it don't takes more than 2 hours.
I have a feeling this recent decision has got to do with the apartments that have sprung up around the area. If anyone noticed, they had recently put up notices that the parking area will be closed at midnight. Looks like that didn't work....if the reason was purely because of SP and KTM, then they would have done this a long time ago
Whether FOC parking or not, the headache is going to be the delay and probable JAMS caused by Entry and Exit. If you compare to SP, the are a few ways to get in or out. Also the 'spiral' drive down is a little steep and narrow...I have on occasion seen some drivers having problems....if that gets jammed, expects a few bumps on your backs!D#![]()
If C4 is charging RM1 per entry... I don't see how this can deter people from parking in it since those taking KTM will enjoy the shaded carpark for the whole day!
Every Birth Begins With Labour Pains
It's cheap & if everyone park inside, there will be less vehicles on the roads.
