I am posting this with Penang Free WiFi at Queenbay mall. The connection quality is not so good, may be the place is huge and many sharing.

Yesterday I have a trip to Penang, why can I share my trip experience over the "Penang trip" thread? Why split it out just because of some stupid posting "out of topic" post under mine? To discuss whether I am lying or not should be a separate topic open in a new thread, right? Why not just split from the post that DarkNite start questioning about my location? Why move my subsequent post and join to this thread as well?

However, if you did a "whois"search on that IP address, you will find that it belongs to cnx.com.my and when I googled for it I found that it is associated with Redtone and of course, the free WiFi network in Penang is run by Redtone

I am not so tech savvy but is there a possibility that anyone using Redtone may display the IP in Selangor ?

I am not tech savvy too but this I know for a fact. The last time I was in Ipoh, my IP address stated that it's in KL. The broadband used was YES.

Most importantly is we don't like him, nobody does. Maybe it is his intention to make us hate him too, look at those posts he write, like supporting BN, admitted to be cybertrooper, admit to commit low moral act like queue jumping and calling everyone hypocrite including our respected kwchang. Do you think we don't know why you are posting this imaginary trip of yours to Penang and commenting on WiFi and then making another imaginary trip? If you are concerned about Penang's WiFi, you should be concernee on the coverage and why started the topic on Open Tender?

If you had stayed in Penang last trip, its Sandy Bay Paradise not Sandy Beach Hotel and btw all beach hotels here in Penang are sandy...

All Buddies of USJ COM, let's not argue over all these IP address thingy here lar! It's not relevant to the topic at hand... IP server addresses are not reflective of location lar! They just provide a registration for where the server is located, not the actual location of the user who is served by the server.

A server can be located in KL, but using a leased line over a fibre optic to serve any location. 202.46.121.167 is just a server address, not the actual node address. Redtone can own a host of IP addresses, yet they are not server addresses per se. Please stop arguing on this IP thingy... It's a waste of time. Many IP address owners have their internal sub address managed by themselves and not listed in the DNS (domain name servers) and you will not know where the actual location is. A node can span over many hundred kilometers while served on a leased line. What more using fibre optic cables these days! More so with WiFi!

Well, I can also ask my staff in Penang, JB, Kuantan, Sibu to show me cinema tickets or car park tickets at the same time…

Can I use that as evidence I was at those places the same time… !!!
