I will go to Penang next weekend, I just wonder will I be able to enjoy the free WiFi service offered by Penang govt? Anyone used that before? Where to get the login info?

    TIA.

Maybe mca penang would be able to tell you where the areas are where you cannot use the wifi. I'm sure they keep very close tabs.

Thank you, but the link does not provide much helpful information other than hotspot locations. What is the SSID to connect? Any login password?

I did not say they are more helpful but that they would be able to tell you where it does not work because to do that would serve their agenda. But if you are sincerely looking for an answer you could check with redtone the service provider and we can avoid turning this thread to a who bash who tread. We do not have to get the political parties involved. Just like if there is a tm/service interruption , we do not go bashing the bee end for allowing them to do business. no relevance to the issue at hand.

I used to work in a marina. When we collected fees for use of internet facilities the boaters would scream and shout everytime there was a service interruption even though we did not get much revenue from it. It came to a stage when they would call up in the middle of the night because those fellas dont sleep at night. So we decided to offer it for free. So everytime there is an interruption we politely tell them we do not charge so bugger off and dont disturb us. Its not our fault anyway most of the time. It made my life much more peaceful and everyone was telling us what great guys we were!! Over in penang because it is made political even if given free people complain.

Yup tak malu... Coming all the way here to be Chairman of a port commission of a state that rejected MCA! Especially after his ppl are also tainted by PKFZ multiple billion ringgit scandal of cheating and what else...

I am sure by now Chua Soi Lek would know which spots on the island are not covered by WiFi and ready to whack The state government, just like you are making a weak attempt to cast doubts and suspicions on the success and good work of the Pakatan Rakyat state government...
