What to Eat on the Way to Cameron Highlands?

Heading to Cameron Highlands for a break with some friends and wonder if anyone has recommendation on the food to try out on the way there or even up there. It has been years since we went there. And we are a bunch of adventurous food lovers. Thanks in advance.

Try the You Hoo restaurant where it is famous for their Indonesian curry fish. I tried a similar dish across the road and it is not bad too. And the amazing thing is, the fish is humongous. Being Cameron Highland I wonder where they get such big fish.

No need to go so far. Come to Kota Kemuning where Pun Chun has set up shop. Pontian famous wanton mee is here also as well as the famous Jalan Imbi Beef ball noodles. The also famous fish ball noodles is here too but cannot remember the name lah. So many famous shops but no famous clientele. Wish some famous actresses move to KK.

OVERrated! It was my regular stopever for years! Then last yr, saw and then complained to the lady boss that i wont eat there again as they now make at least 10 bowls together in 1 humongous salad aluminium bowl, and then use scissors to cut & apportion indivi bowl! Apa? Also they upped the price by more than 20%!

Same same method as that KL wanton mee fella who opened a branch in D'sara Kim...also stopped going there!
