CM, where did you buy this KAMUS?

I can't find it from Popular because their staff told me I can't find it from every Popular bookshop.

the one i have is Kamus Fajar KBSR Bahasa Malaysia-Bahasa Malaysia-Bahasa Inggeris. is that the same?

I had a good look at it, EVEN BETTER than my pure Kamus Bahasa Melayu KBSR - BM-BM-English (just a translation of key word)

Parents, PLEASE NOTE THAT the covers have changed from the one shown in the website but TITLE remains the same ... I saw it at BIG bookshop (new reopen) as well yesterday.

CM (& all other parents), keep up the good work! just a little advice - please do continue with it most diligently!

I did the same with my 2 kids but now that they're in Std 3 & 5, I'm giving up. BM these days is too tough for me, esp kertas 2 (kids are ok with kertas 1). The particular section on 'nilai murni' just irks me so much! Those with kids who went through this will understand what I mean. IMHO, it's totally irrelevant. While the instruction clearly says to answer in less than 40 words, all answers in all the workbooks are at least double the number of words. So which to follow? I'm at a complete loss at how to continue.

Thus, may I just 'borrow' this thread to ask if anyone has recommendation for a good BM home tuition teacher? I'm thinking to get one-on-one tuition for my Std 6 next year. Am sure he can pass, but then he still has to go to SMK after where everything is in BM.Appreciate advice pls.....or should I start another thread??

Honestly, I have not thought of ANY form of tuition for my children for their primary and secondary education EXCEPT for ADDITIONAL MATHS (when they are in Form 4 and 5) as it is my weakest subject during school - everything else I can tutor them myself. I just need to find the right resources/books and materials.

I will ask around some of the senior parents that I know and see what they say ... If you don't mind me saying, good BM tuition teachers may be from SK school rather than SJKC.

I came across this online BM tuition for form 1 -3 (PMR) students. www.gtuition.com.
It claims that it's from Lee Choo Hock - The best BM tuition teacher in Penang.
As I am not from Penang, not sure how true.

But I check out some of the sample video clip from them in youtube, I am very kin to sign up, for myself, to learn and then later can teach my children. Ya, "later", she just started Std 1.

A parent has kindly introduced this book to me over the weekend - got it at Casamac - it is AN EXCELLENT BOOK for explaining and practising BM IMBUHANS and applicable from Std 2 till 5 !!!!!

I am using this book in tandem with the SK BM reference book (Cemerlang) - the good part of this simple workbook is that immediately after each explanation, there are a few questions as examples to highlight the points.

The strong point of this book is in the IMBUHANS, the other sections are passable

Yes, SASBADI is quite good. My kid use them. There is another method for BM's Pemahaman that my kid's tuition asked us to do with her. Due to the fact that it is very difficult to get my child to read books or even new articles in BM, she suggested getting her to read aloud 3 'Karangan' on a daily basis. After trying it for two months, I found that her wriiten BM is much better, in fact, about 30 marks better and so I have continued it since then ,about a year now.
