Coincidentally, I had part time form 4 girl working with me as a waitress in my previous outlet at Aman Puri. Her duty include cleaning and sweeping. She seems overwhelmed and oblivious to her tasks. After two days, I had the job review with her and asked her whether she cook, clean or sweep at home! Nope! She couldnt cook a pot of rice or done any laundry.
I threatened to fire her if she couldnt do it at home, how the hell could she do it here? Eventually, not only she took up cleaning and mopping at home, she managed to cook rice for her parents. She even asked me for the recipes to cook meals for them. Whether it was tasty enough for them or not, but the changing attitude and efforts to cook a dinner for them paid off with the gleaming smiles from the parents.
