Angry Conned big-time by UMNO "Wayang kulit"

CONNED BIG-TIME BY UMNO WAYANG KULIT

    - the following are extracts and opinions from a teh-tarik talk cock session among friends

I had a most interesting teh-tarik with some journalist friends last night and they opinioned and concluded that the WHOLE STUPID MALAYSIANS (including themselves for the first few days of outrage) were CONNED by one of the BEST WAYANG KULIT SHOW ever played by UMNO using Utusan.

    1) UMNO wants to project its image and position to the Malays that ONLY UMNO can defend Malay rights, Islam etc .... NOT PAS, NOT PKR ...

    2) Utusan CREATE an unnecessary but essential wayang kulit RUCKUS with the "Christian PM" (it also implies that the pro-UMNO bloggers are all in cahoots as well) (hence, expect NO ISA or Sedition charges - just wait) - and all hoo-haa break loose - as expected by UMNO strategists (this bunch is smart !!) - the PAS and PKR automatically REFERS TO THE CONSTITUTION ....

    3) However, the SUBTLE MESSAGE, UMNO is sending to the Malay voters is that Constitution can be changed and amended ...

    4) BUT IF UMNO is always the GOVT, they will safeguard all the provisions, Islam etc in the CONSTITUTION but PAS and PKR ... not necessary and they will highlight DAP Lim Guan Eng talking left, right and centre about the "cooked-up" issue. While PAS and PKR REMAIN QUIET !!

    5) So, everyone fell into an UMNO psychological "trap" whose main aim is TO HIGHLIGHT TO THE MALAY VOTERS - ONLY UMNO CAN DEFEND YOU !! - and they will repeat and replay this "incident" in all the ceramahs etc in the coming GE !!

    All KENA CONNED !!

This goman is really desperate to hang on to power.

The same thing happen in Sabah.

When things get rough in Sabah, you will hear about Philippine's Claim to Sabah and this is repeated year after year over so many times.

Most people without internet or only read the MSN are their targetted audience, which forms the bulk of their support.
The ironic thing is these are the people that need help the most but I guess keeping them in the dark - gullible & naive, is easier & cheaper to rule.

I could see it from a mile away. I suppose the target audience is the rural folks but then they seem to have forgotten the rural folks also have access to the internet . Some may have been swayed but by and large the population have seen through their bull and have remained largely unaffected. The only ones who seem to have been affected are those fellas from those dubious ngos or associations who may have been hired hands . I think that they realise that this does not work anymore cos the general population thinks they are a bunch of asses anyway. Otherwise there would be people screaming for blood or long queues to buy provisions. It is all not happening so their antics have come to nothing, zero, zilch , kosong.

And if UMNO wins their rural votes, they will form the next Govt again - majority of MP seats are in the rural areas.

Let's face the fact that UMNO and Utusan know how to play the game in dissemination of news to the sub-urban and rural Malay voters -

They no longer focus on urban areas which they know is now a lost-cause due to as you all have rightly pointed out - more knowledgable, critical etc ...

Hence, UMNO's battle plan is now clearly with PAS (rural) and PKR (sub-urban) for the Malay votes and the cannon-fodders are Chinese, non-Muslims, non-Malays and DAP ....

OK, maybe, I (and my friends - who are both Utusan and BH reporters) should not use the term WHOLE MALAYSIANs - just the Malays (60 % of population)

Yup.. they are targeting the mass which are the rural folks..

But things change slowly, the rural folks now have children working in town… their children play a role in waking up their old folks…

Currymee, pls help me answer some of these questions I have.

The meeting of the Christian Leaders in Penang with invited guest YB Jeff Ooi of Jelutong, was a 'closed door affair', tell me how did blogger Big Dog get full info on the entire meeting and then use it to add salt and pepper to the entire proceedings to write in his blog and then Utusan picked it up and went to town with a Page 1 headline.

Please tell me, among the Christians at the function, who betrayed the meeting? Who betrayed the frock and let a pro-UMNO blogger into every detail into who attended and what took place, then you decide who conned who!!!

The Christians should ask this serious question of a breach of trust amongst its own before questionning the other parties' mischief. I personally think its a et Brutus inside the group...

Let me ask you another question, Currymee. Just a question but it will definitely change your whole perception of this entire incident and sets you thinking.

Is it possible someone who was at the Christian Meeting in Penang took the minutes of the meeting, add in the words "and the congregation prayed for a Christian PM", get it passed on to blogger Big Dog knowing Big Dog is a pro-UMNO blogger working hand-in-hand with Utusan Malaysia and all this was to set a trap for Utusan Malaysia to get the paper banned?
    Is it possible?

But there is no way that the paper would ever be banned since they are directly under their command and direction. I do not personally think that the congregation would ever pray for the pm to be a christian. I dont think that they would ever do that, knowing fully well it can not happen. What these people do is normally spin the untruths with the truths. In this case there was a congregation of these people so essentially they cannot deny not being there. As to whether they prayed for a christian pm, here the untruth is spun in and since those people cannot deny being there, they also would not be able to deny that no such prayers were held since the msm would not give them a forum to air their side of the story. The fat dog may just have been informed that there was such a meeting and he may not even been told what they were discussing. deep throat as it were, may be just someone who worked in the office and since they would need a function room would know that a function room has been booked and normally the reason for the function would be put in a notice board so there again it need not have been someone who attended the function to release the information to the fat dog. Just my 2 sen worth.

Yup, Utusan Melayu won't get banned for sure CML, but don't you think they will get tricked into the trap, together with Home Ministry, and then the party who set the trap goes to town and whip up the emotions of the Christians, non-Malays etc to ensure they do not ever cross over to BN? Think about it, I am not saying I am right, but just have a think about the possibility....
