    Exclamation Conman

    Dear all,

Those of you staying in the Subang and USJ area, please beware of a conman of Sikh origin. He wears a turban with a thick moustache and goes around proclaiming that you have a lucky face. He will proceed to ask certain questions like date of birth, and somehow, this conman will guess it right. After that, he will give you a red colored stone with some good luck charm on it and this is where the con appears. He will ask you for over RM100 for his services. If you don't he will get aggressive with you and since all middle age Sikhs are quite big size, he can be quite a threat. No offense to all Sikhs out there but this one is roaming around the streets of Taipan, etc. I have seen this guy for quite a number of years already dating back to 1999.
Be careful guys and girls out there.

I met this sikh guy while walking towards my office.

He saw me...approached me and...I reacted by:
"Hah! you are very lucky today! You saw me! Now you pay me RM10.00!"

He was stumped then he laughed and walked away!
Don't ask me how I knew he was a conman...I just took a guess and went on verbal offensive mode.

    Tupai

    P/s Nope, i never got paid RM10.00

I can vouch for this one...this Sikh chap with the same description came up my ex-office and said he needed to see my boss - very private and confidential. This was in year 2000. There is also an Indian man claiming to be from India and insists on reading my fortune. I was told that the Sikh probably is also the one who can make people pay money without realising it.

no need to stereotype sikhs. there are a lot of conmen around. malays as well, and there are loads of chinese 'fortune tellers' out there too who will ask you for your money and tell you good stories. some give you stones. some give u paper.

i met a very scary one in a taxi once. indian guy. he told me i was going through a rough time. i thought he was just judging my expression. then he told me that i only had RM7 in my wallet. that was when i knew he was talking serious stuff.

he told me a lot of personal things. for one, he asked me about who i was going out with. i told him my ex's name, but i only said his christian name. then the fella replied, "no,no,no, that is not his real name by birth. what is his real name?" i was shocked, cos my ex took on his christian name only when he was 7. only his family and me know it.

the guy told me a lot of things and it scared me. for instance i asked him whether i would work out with that ex (then bf) of mine. he said that i would realise one day that he wouldn't want to settle down. which was true... three years later we broke up because he's really the stupid ah beng don't want commitment but nice car type of guy.

the taxi driver then asked me to get in touch with him, etc. he didn't charge me for the cab ride because he knew i was so sh!t broke.

but i never called. he scared the craps out of me and i believe the future will catch up soon enough... why bother to speed up the journey?

    Another type of conman

Hehe.. talking about conmen, I think certain Job Agencies are conmen in their own regards... Collect RM20 as "Registration fee" and they promise to look for jobs for u, but after u pay, they call u maybe 1nce or 2wice, then "poof" they disappear from ur life...

In the bottom of each man's heart lies two sinful natures: Greed abd Fear.

Greed would drive a man to desire what he does not deserve and what others have.

Fear, on the other hand, drive the man to fear loosing what he has.

Conmen know this weakness a man has and, give half the chance, will exploit it to the fullest.

So, my guiding thruth is : GREED NOT FEAR NOT.

God gives and God also takes away.

you for got one more thing uchangeng ... Stupidity.

however religious ppl are, some of them still get duped miserably. i wouldn't say it's greed so much as it is the willlingness to believe that something supertnatural is possible.

take for instance mona fendy's victims. she promised them 'money falling from the sky' after they attained 'a coin' that would be able to do so. come on, any half wit will know that's the biggest bunch of crap anyone can come up with. but ppl still buy it.... because, a lot of ppl are Stupid.

likewise... lucky stones, lucky paper, lucky whatever. if it were only half true we'd have lucky stones all around the KLSE to revive the economy, lucky paper plastered all over SJMC so ppl will get better, lucky faces sitting around Bank Negara to bring the RM back to what it was years ago.

but like i said.... a lot of ppl are Stupid.
