Is it true that Private Sectors discriminate them ?

    # Is it true that the Malays are also migrating abroad because they are being discriminated against by Malaysiaís private sector ?

    # Is it true that the private sector chooses employees based on skin colour, and they favour their own race compared to Malays ?

    # Is it true that the Malays are leaving because they canít even get job opportunities here despite being qualified ?

Why would anyone want to employ anyone who is handicapped by their command of the commercial language and with academic credentials coming from insitututions of higher learning with dubious reputations and yet have to pay them the same pay as everyone else. Maybe thats the reason why most private sector companies are making money and glcs and the such dont?

I relate some of my experiences:-
    1. Only Malays who have a good command of English can survive in the private sector. These Malays would have had their education overseas. Most lower rank staff are Malays.
    2. Malays pray 5 times a day, 3 of them during working hours. The non-muslims would have to wait for them to finish their prayer b4 starting the meeting or finish a project.
    3. In senior management, only 1 place is allotted to them, a riskless but powerful position called Human Resources. Sometimes, the Operations Dept.
    4. They tend to play politics more than work.
    5. There is much racial polarisation in the private sector, i.e. Chinese makan with Chinese, Indians with Indians and Malays with Malays during breakfast, lunch and tea time.
    6. During puasa month, the work pace goes down by half!~

That's why the only way they can work according to their pace is to work in a Malay or Muslim organisation in the private sector.

    Khap!~
    p.s. no offence intended!

If those malays are intellectually challenged, still wanna hire them ah, Mr PERKASA? We are running a business with a mind to profit, not charity. My local biz do not have a single Malay coz i run my biz based on meritocracy and ability. So dont blame me yeah!!

Getting sick and tired of this Perkasa rants and table bangings...

... everything is Perkasa this and Perkasa that... those myopic sons of bumiputra bumss that got nothing better to do but to rant about what are not SPOONFED to them....

If anyone wants to migrate ~~ then go ahead and "get lost" la... and see if they can survive overseas.... if they can, then it's good for them la... if cannot, then don't come back running with their tails between their legs and hands stretched out for hand outs....

FYI ~ most bumis that GET TO migrate ARE professionals (those that have studied/trained overseas in the first place) who are probably FED UP of being associated with the "subsidy minded" ones here...

The local bumi grads....IMHO - basic Inggeris oso kenot handle... wanna migrate konon... ROTFLMAO! I wouldn't be suprise if tomorrow, they would blame SMS abbreviated English instead of the school/education system for the decline...

Religion is a private matter....by the way, I have never seen any meetings in my place of work where prayer times get in the way. Our meetings, seminars & workshops sometimes stretch to 6pm.
As for politics, it happens in office environments. And I am sure office politics have nothing to do with the general elections or by elections - it is a lot to do with office positions and it has nothing to do with being Malay

Make comments from facts and not from some racist slant

I fully agree with you here, Chang. In my almost 30 years in the private sector, I have never ever experienced work interrruptions because our Muslim colleagues need to perform their religious obligations. I think both parties ie Muslims and their non-Muslim colleagues are fully understanding in this area and both sides have "adjusted" each other to make sure everything smooth and soon soon lee lee.....

If i, a chinese-malaysian, ever became a boss and have my own company, I will hire only if the employee is
    - contributing to the company
    - adding value
    - progressively wanting to improve
    - good attitude with team spirit

...and the person can be a malay/chinese/indian/eurasian/orang asli/kwai loh male or female or shemale or transexual or polka-dot martian for all i care.

Heck! if a trained monkey from Pretchaburi monkey school can do all the above, i will hire the whole troupe of 'em! Mai penrai!
