    A text scam from "Shell"

    I dont how many of you have recieved a text saying that you have won RM10000 and contact Shell S. Bhd.? 2Mobile nos are given.
    So even though i dont believe such nonsense i called them using a public phone and they wanted my mobile no.

    I dont know what else they would want from me.
    So i cut off the call.
    So I called Shell's toll free no and they clariified that its a scam and they have made many police reports and still no action. I was told they keep changing the mobile nos.
    Btw if you have won anything from Shell they would call you.

    Just to share this with you all and beware.

    Anyone receiving SMSes in Malay promising "exciting" pictures if you reply to a certain 5 digit number? I seem to be getting more and more of those these days.

    There's also sms scam supposidely from Petronas too.
    NO SUCH THING!...NO one simple gives you free cash prizes via sms for nothing! But then all these scammers need are some suckers and make their day... world isn't short of suckers, one is born everyday!
