[An Incredible Story Here - Motivational to some and most likely reminiscent to some of our 'very' senior citizens here...many of them would have faced, or had their parents talk about such challenges.... and we today are the result of the sacrifice and courage]

When No Was Never An Option!
    Tan Le: My immigration story

    Quote:
"In 2010, technologist Tan Le took the TEDGlobal stage to demo a powerful new interface. But now, at TEDxWomen, she tells a very personal story: the story of her family -- mother, grandmother and sister -- fleeing Vietnam and building a new life."

Once you have watched above, I recommend you watch her 2010 presentation at TEDGlobal....she demo's how her astonishing new computer interface reads its user's brainwaves...bit technical but absolutely fantastic! CLICK HERE

    Subject: Just found Tsunami camera.

Yu Muroga was doing his job making deliveries when the 11 March 2011

earthquake hit in Japan. Unaware, like many people in the area, of how far

inland the Tsunami would travel, he continued to drive and do his job. The

HD camera mounted on his dashboard captured not only the earthquake, but

also the moment he and several other drivers were suddenly engulfed in the

Tsunami. He escaped from the vehicle seconds before it was crushed by other

debris and sunk underwater. His car and the camera have only recently been

recovered by the police. The camera was heavily damaged but a video expert

was able to retrieve this footage.

    Ant Hill

This is an amazing video of an ant hole that was filled in with cement and dug up to see what it looked like. Very interesting and the video is short.

Here's something to think about the next time you stick a water hose in an ant hill and try to flush them out. Fascinating!

Sometimes......we need to take what we see [read] on the Internet with a pinch of salt

Golden Eagle Snatches Kid In Canada....this YT video just published got 16 million hits in 1 day

This video is fake and part of a “Hoax the Internet” competition, created by students of multimedia [Centre NAD, Montreal]. Both the eagle and the kid were created in 3D animation and integrated into the film afterwards. [Amazing, watch the video below]

Here's another video [below] done by other students....but this didn't get much attention.....I suppose a baby snatched by an Eagle has more 'shock and awe' than an escaped Penguin.

BTW, its in French, Montreal Meh!

The guy flying the 3 kites is in his 80s, and he's from Canada . He comes to the Washington State International Kite Festival every year. His skin is like leather as he normally flies with his shirt off. He is deaf, so when he flies we hold our hands up and wave them for applause. He flies 2 with his hands and the 3rd one is attached to his waist. Enjoy!

You must watch to the end to see the amazing landing of that last kite! I would have those kite’s so tangled up, you could never get them separated again! And of course, make sure the volume is turned up because the music is wonderful and totally reflects the soaring of the kites. Beautiful.
