    Never Ending Haiku

Haiku is a form of Japanese poetry, consisting of 17 moras, in three phrases of 5, 7, and 5.

For the purpose of this game, we'll post a haiku using the traditional 5-7-5 syllabic layout. The last line of your haiku shall be the first line for the next player's.

    Example
    Player 1:
The night sleeps away (5 syllables)
Farther and farther it goes (7 syllables)
beyond the world's grasp (5 syllables)

    Player 2:
    beyond the world's grasp (5)
lie many things-the dreams of (7)
poor fools and great kings. (5)

No idea if this game had any potential but we won't know unless we try, right?

    I'll begin with ...

    Silence all around
    I hear a loud emptiness
    Am I alone here?

Dude, you should begin with "Alas! I lost her".

Game Rule: The last line of your haiku shall be the first line for the next player's.

With so many games threads, it's a challenge to remember all the rules.

    That is all I saw.
    Although actually is more
    Just pretend only . . . .
