STAY AWAY from the Emergncy Lane

Those baliking kampong and will definitely be facing a mobile car park NSHiway etc...pls STAY AWAY from the left most, kiri sekali lane. This lane is meant for the bikers BUT more IMPORTANTLY, for the emergency respond vehicles be they NSHiway Ronda, or Ambulance.

I have seen an ear splitting siren blaring Ambulance getting stuck in the emergency lane bcos many idiot-drivers are hogging and jamming it up for kilometres!
If our family member or own self is inside that ambulance, on a life or death situ...imagine the agony of being stuck in a jam caused by idiotdrivers!

So STAY AWAY from the Emerhency lane!

P.s I have a friend who used to be an ambulance driver. He mentioned that the greatest frus is getting stuck in a jam with front drivers NOT giving way. he eventually gave up his job as the cumulative stress got to him.

Driving again in Bolehland is really stressful.

I do not think there is any Emergency Lane there.

All roads including the emergency Lane were packed.

They cut you left and right without any signal and stopped suddenly.

To prevent this, sometimes, I drove like a drunken man weaving left n right a little bit.

This scare the hell out of those following behind me.

    It works wonder.

Yes for the sake of all law abiding road users and not to compound the jam, please please stay away from the emergency lane. being allowed to use the emergency lane on the Federal Highway during peak hours does not mean it is a free ticket to use the emergency lanes on other roads.

this was taken on the day before Thaipusam on the flyover leading to Batu Caves..............cars were just going over the drain and abuse the road shoulder

most do stay off the lane... some timid or impatient ones would 'sneak' in n out (probably for fear of getting whacked with an ill afford summons!)... but the ones that wud blast right thru - are those gleaming Beemers, Mercs, Cayannes, Tuaregs and the occasional Accord, Selphy or Camry... why they do it - becos they can afford the damn fines....

went down to Melaka for a day trip Today - and both ways, had the darn SG plated cars come from nowhere [get flashed even when my signal is used] and forced off to middle lanes, before seeing them ZIP off... haizz... what is RM 300 - when the SIN$ is higher @ 2.35 - blooming SG drivers would think of the fine as SPEED tax/toll... and when one of the guys ahead didn't yield - that fella boomed across the emergency lane like his as* was on fire..

(then again - mebbe his as* was really on fire.... )

oh ya... saw a few "blue and white" canopies along the way, with sleeping personnel inside... must be the rain/drizzle... [sleepy mode!]

I always make use of the convenience emergency lane when in rush, I hate those who drive slow in emergency lane. Come on, if you are not in hurry, then why do the "unfriendly, hate-attraction" action?!

Thats why I say fines isn't a resolve for traffic offences, only become a revenue generating issue. Only in Malaysia for you all!...Malaysia Boleh!..Kong Si Huat Cai!

came back from Melaka today (yesterday actually) and got caught in a jam on the Senawang Seremban stretch... and a bit on the Seremban Nilai section - possibly due to rain and cautious (slow) driving...

as usual, you still had the usual Mercs, Camrys and Bemmers plus a bunch of EXPRESS BUSES that would use the emergency lanes at their convenience...

Then there was this BIG BLACK D-MAX 4x4 that running hot on the emergency lane, suddenly jumped into my lane (almost clipping my car) and tried to scoot into the middle lane... only to see his smirk wiped off his face when a traffic cop suddenly appeared and waved him to to the side...

    Nice...

    serves that fella right

it's amazing what some drivers do. coming back from ipoh at the slim river stretch with 3 lanes, there is this new tucson weaving in and out of the traffic, abusing the emergency lane at will. the funny thing was after 15 minutes, it was only just 6 cars ahead of me. mana mahu pergi bang with such slow moving traffic. and i'm sure along the way, the driver would have caused other drivers to have countless skipped heartbeats and frustration. so so selfish

I came back this morning at about 2 am from Taiping. I left at 7.15 pm and arrived at Ipoh at 11 pm. I usually take about 30 minutes to cover the same distance. Many times, while waiting for the traffic to move, I thought to myself why I am paying for a tolled road. Or why the Western Highway is still not built yet after 10 years of talking. I guess we know the answers.

As for the bikers, I saw many super bikes weaving in and out between cars, instead of using the right or left lane (that particular stretch has a wide lane on the right.) The smaller bikes were using the left lane. I guess super bikers feel it is more fun doing that.

It makes me wonder, with such heavy traffic and everyone in a hurry and very tired from a long holidays, why are the traffic policemen manning road blocks in Butterworth main road ah?

    Thumbs down

I've seen the police asking the motorists to use the leftmost lane in their attempt to "ease" the traffic. So I guess many people think it's okay to use the "express lane" .............................................
