If your gomen is such a big sucker, why would they not take advantage of it. Just like plus , if one can get the gomen to guarantee minimum traffic and toll increases and get paid if those are not met why not. Only in a country like us, we can accept rubbish like this and still sing praises of our 1 gomen when they throw a few scraps here and there when there is a coming election. If it was you, i think you would also do it if it is going to make you rich beyond your wildest dreams.

I was a Digi user, and now I'm using Yes. If you often have to go to many places, Digi is better. I can't get signal in many spots inside Sunway Pyramid when using Yes, but not for Digi (though not perfect as well). I didn't get any signal when I was in Muar, Johor too. If coverage is your concern, don't switch. If u only go to limited areas where you could have strong Yes signal, I guess, why not? If you're a heavy user (download or stream a lot), don't use Yes as it's quite expensive (to me lah)

    Hope it helps.

At the end of the day it really depends on your usage and also please consider the fact that over time your usage requirements also change and what may not be suitable for you now maybe suitable for you later. We have to realise that there is no such thing as a free lunch. It is just that they are exploiting a niche or a specific sector of the market and that market may be huge because currently the market is forced to accept what is thrown at them by the existing telcos.
