    Gas Piping Contractor

I'm looking for a contractor that can do gas piping under kitchen floor for an island type kitchen for my house which is under renovation.

It's a only a short distance about 2.5m at most to outside wall and has to be under the floor.

I can't find any contractor willing to do it, as they all seem to be doing much larger commercial projects for restaurants.

Does anybody know of contractors to recommend who can do this? (SS17).

AFAIK, A plumbing company will be able to do this kind of job, just that the pipes are of GI and all joints are 100% secure and NO leaks.
The usual method to test for integrity is to pump in nitrogen or some non volatile gas to 100psi, then leave it for a day or more with a pressure gauge to monitor that the pressure doesn't drop by any amount. I doubt installers would do this nowadays except for big projects. Its the same for any pneumatic piping installation. No leaks is required.
