Luckily I wasn't attacked by the bees. Instead the bees moved and left the bee hive behind. I didn't know what to do with the bee hive then! Just left it and a week later I found it on the ground dried & shrivelled. What a waste!!
Not a good idea. The watering will make the hive difficult to handle. Messy too. Best to smoke them away.

How do you smoke them away, using cigars or cigarettes?

I didn't mean to harvest the hive then. Just to get the bees away from my garden. Come to think of it....it's really a waste that I just abandon the hive. I didn't know how to collect the honey from it. Aiyah...why didn't we discuss this earlier...ha ha.....

Neither. Just start a small fire under the tree. Newspapers will do.

VP... it has something to do with gardening if u snip off some fresh parsley from the garden to sprinkle on top of the baked lobster au gratin. mmmm...

Hi Sumana, daun ketumbar can easily be grown by tossing some of the biji ketumbar in a pot of soil.
As for rosemary and mint, sorry i cant answer that coz i get those as little plants from the store. Maybe someone has extra plants to share with you? Good luck!!

Pudina or mint is very easy to grow. Just pluck off some stems from the mint you bought from the market. Place the stems into soil and they would grow from there. Mint has to be controlled as sometimes can become invasive, crawling all over. I used to grow them. Bought some mint for my laksa. Left over went into my vegie patch. They grew endlessly until I wasn't able to manage them. So decided to pull them off the patch. Try it. You will have endless supply of mint. Can make mojito - crushed mint leaves, lime juice, vodka and ice! Or lime and mint iced drink! Or just chopped up some mint, scatter them with some sugar over slices of pineapple. Or mint with hot tea ~ how refreshing!

Close-up of my orange cattleya. This is the one I bought last year. Second time it bloomed. The lady who sold this orchid to me said that this particular pot is "sot-sot-tay" (sorta lunatic, I guess)

Anyone knows what this orchid is called? The blooms come in small sprays. As long as you don't snip off the stalk, it continues growing and blooming. The stalk is so long it's half way to the ground. I counted eight different stalks since it started blooming way back when. Constant blooms. What do you say to something like that?
