i have quite a fair bit of it growing in my papaya tree pot...i have been wondering whether it was some vege that i had sown and failed to grow earlier. now that you've given the name, i googled a gardener's newsletter and found that this weed is related to the lettuce family and edible...better have a good look and ensure it's the correct plant otherwise like Love Potion No. 9. the eaters end up kissing everything in sight....

There is an old couple in my neighborhood who plants this vegetable. They told me it is edible but I still have my doubts. They told me it is called "Yin Choy"

Yes, there are some mulches around the " Han Choi " and we do eat pluck the leaves & eat them either make into soup or quick fry it.

How do you make the "mulches"? Dry leaves and cut grass?
