CNY travelling duration

Would just like to wonder, how long did your CNY journeys take? Here's some of mine & my friends':

SJ-Teluk Intan: 2 hrs (Car)
Teluk Intan-SJ: 4 hrs (Car)

SJ-Penang: 4 hrs (Car)
Penang-KL: 7 hrs (Bus)

USJ-Ipoh: 2.5 hrs (Car)
Ipoh-USJ: 3.5 hrs (Car)

my colleague left batu caves @ 12:30pm on sunday, reached s'ban after 4:30pm.

My experience:

Jan 30: Departure 8.00am
USJ - Butterworth: 4 hours (car)

Feb 02, Departure: 10.30am
Butterworth - USJ: 3 hrs 45 min (car)

My Experience:

USJ to Penang 4 hours (car) depart 8am
Penang to USJ 7 hours (car) depart 3pm

Traffic jam at Ipoh 1.5 hour and Bukit beruntung 1.5 hour

Any opinions for this coming weekend's traffic condition? Intend to make a trip up and down Penang. Up on Sat, down on Sun.

I intend to leave by 6.30am Sat for Butterworth, and
return by 1.00pm Sunday.

Hope the traffic is kind on me.

plan to depart about 5am from sj on sat, and around 2pm from pg on sun... guess dat doesn't difer much from jeff's time... praying with u ...

surprise surprise, minimal traffic to-fro sj-penang saturday & sunday... only thing is almost got squashed to the road divider by a pink bus...

Sat: Left USJ at 7.45am, reached BWorth 12.15 noon, including
20 mins stop at Tapah R&R.

Sun: Left BWorth at 1.40pm, reach USJ at 5.55pm. Heavy rain
before and after Ipoh.
