    according to this article in Star Metro today, Prasarana has applied for planning permission for 7 stations in MPSJ area (not sure of the details of which ones) of which 2 (in Kinrara) have been approved.

    Dunno if those are for the Ampang LRT extension (which I think has 11 of 12 stations in MPSJ territory) or the Kelana Jaya extension (which has 9 stations in MPSJ territory).

    any idea on where specifically the stops will be in SJaya? I mean other than the obvious ktm station and maybe also ss15? ss18????

    3 stations in Subang Jaya

    SS16 above the KTM Station
    SS15 opposite Pelita
    SS18 opposite the commercial area and park

    Thanks M for the info...but opposite pelita is a park! Or they are building a flyover stop of sort? Asnd ss18 area oppo the commercial is also a park...
    Looks like we gonna be losing our green area then...they sure wanna make car parks there!

    The authorities did not approve LRT to pass through the zoo because it disturb the animals. But it is ok for the LRT to pass through between 2 buildings (Empire Gallery and O-Saujana).. It is ok to pass through the park in SS15 and SS18. Seems human are more resilient

    IS LRT still on? I thought it is dead? just NATO only..target date is 2012 to finish?

    I go out at 6.20am daily to catch the LRT from KJ to KLCC. Less traffic early morning but coming back is a pain esp the Kesas interchange/summit traffic light stretch. So yes, pls bring the LRT to SJ/USJ. BTW, you can buy the 30 days pass for RM 100, unlimited rides. So no problem with the ticket price.

    I understand the 1st package was already given up. 1st package is for the line up to Summit area. The 2nd package is supposed to have been awarded anytime now. I heard work on Package 1 had already started.

    There is one big hole dug at USJ 6/6N ... with cement cylinders left along USJ 6/7 ........ are these works for soil testing for Station 8 also?
