    Too right your google friend is. Information age does have its advantages. At least, one no longer needs to crack one's head over ridiculous riddles....

    Actually ALL answers to any existing puzzles are in the Internet. Unless the puzzles posted here were composed by the forumers themselves. Sigh.

    Let me try one, I don't think you can google this one for answer.

    D E F is a Quadrant
    A B C D is a Rectangle

    Given that, A D = A E = 5 cm and F C = 2 cm

    What is the length of A C?? You need to explain how you get the answer and not simply guess a number.

    Hint : Don't think too complicated. The answer is within the diagram Click on the diagram to enlarge it if it is too small for you to see.

    Based on Pythagoras theorem, should b the square-root of 89.

    DE = DF = 10cm
    minus 2cm we get DC=8cm
    Right angled triangle with sides 8cm and 5cm, apply pythagorus's theorum to get the length of AC which is the hypotenus = ?

    Chang, you are almost there.. no doubt you can use the hypotenus to work out (which come to many decimals) ... but this is a brainteaser, so, the answer within the diagram. Think harder a bit.
