Ah , right , the glass was unbroken :P
Superhero water guy , he entered the room through the air particles , then he killed the guy , but the air-conditioner turned him into ice , he tried to escape , but he slowly melted into a puddle , as the air conditioner wasn't consistent

killer was not in the room - the bullet had been fired from well over 30 meters away ... room cannot be longer than 30 meters

On the 53rd floor, his killer was in the next building ... bullet went through the air-conditioner (window unit) - that was why the floor was damp ... due to air-conditioner's condensation dripping to the floor

technically, if he was shot from a close range, the bullet would have gone thru his head. As the bullet was lodged at the base of the skull, it meant the bullet had lost its momentum by going thru an object - the air-conditioner

window unit airconds are sited at the base of the window - carpets below drapes being wet could be due to water from aircond unit which need not be above the drapes.

To have a bullet at the base of the skull and the victim in a seated position would mean the bullet came from below the window level - consistent with a window unit air-cond sited below the window's level. The windows were locked and no glass was broken so no passage through the windows.

However, my answer is not the right one otherwise it would have rung the bell earlier

The roman number IX as we all know consist of I and X. Google tells us that X is 10 and that when I is put in front of X, we deduct 1 from 10 to get 9.

    So IX is 9.

Question: With one stroke of the pen, change IX (9) to 6?
