Maxis ISP
I am furious with Maxis and would like to know if any other suffered the same treatment I had to endure.
Sometime last week I could not retrieve my mails and on further enquiry, I was told that my account had been suspended as a result of renewal due. The point is I did not receive any kind of reminders at all ! What is so difficult about setting an automated reminder.
Now, if anyone of you had the same experience, please stand up and be counted. I will make sure Maxis hear more from me.
Rgds,
Patrick

Maxis is my back-up dial-up service provider, knowing how
reliable Streamyx and Jaring can be.
My experience with MaxisNet is like this.
They did not send me a reminder for renewal.
They suspended my account. (OK, I was at fault for not paying)
So I paid up.
One month later, they sent me 2 free TGV tickets for having
renewed for another 6 months.
Guess I am going to take Patrick to the movie to calm him down.

That makes two of us who didnt get any kind of reminder. All we got was the axe coming down. Anyone else?
Btw, something else I didnt reveal earlier. The person who answered my phone insisted they had sent out an sms to remind me to renew my sub. When I asked for the phone number to which they sent the sms, the person couldnt respond. Then she insisted they sent an email. And when I asked for the date of the email, again she couldnt respond! Terrible!!

Why can't a money-making concern like Maxis give better service? I have been with Jaring from the start and I get periodic account balance emails from Jaring thru my email. Having once updated my balance with a Jaring reseller, Utusan, I also get snail-mail notes from Utusan. Besides all that, I check my balances sometimes thru Jaring's secure online service. Hmmm... if only I can get broadband from Jaring.
