In front of Sri KL, triangular cones are placed in front in the afternoon.
At Jalan SS 15/8. Double parking is everywhere.
There is one time I saw a guy trying to to the traffic cop explain after receiving the fine.

There is a guy who came back late and parked the card in front of his neighbor's house. The neighboring house belongs to a couple who want to go out early in the morning. The couple called the police because of that.

I had a very maddening encounter some months back with two moronic drivers.
I was parked right in front of a shop in USJ11 and was leaving the parking lot when I Honda from the vertical parking on the other side of the road started reversing. I tried to get out of his way by speeding up but my path was blocked by an idiot who double parked his car and who was also facing the wrong direction. The back of the Honda rammed into the side of my car while I sat in there, stunned. Luckily its passenger saw and damage was a dent and a scratch to my car door. We both stopped our cars and got out. Meanwhile idiot double-parker had happily left the place.
The Honda has some scratches on its bumper. I told him I'll let it go as mine was an old car anyway. He said his was a company car and his staff will call me. I said fine. A month later, the guy asked for a compensation. His reasoning - he didn't see me when he was backing his car out...
Driving in USJ has given me a lot of encounters with some of the most inconsiderate drivers around.
Once, front of a bank, I was about to leave my parking spot and a 4-wheeler stop behind my car.The driver got down and I explained I was about to leave...her answer? I'm just going to the ATM, can't you wait 5 minutes?
1. ...inconsiderated drivers - yes (most) USJ drivers!!... hostile too...Originally Posted by xinrong

# ...one should go try and experience the HOSTILE and INCONSIDERATE mothers and fathers picking up their pampered kids at the various schools around USJ.... if can, they would probably PARK outside the classroom - so that ms muffett could hop skip and jump into the car and zip away... Idiots fail to realise that all that exhaust fumes coming from running engines at the schools would makes the school zones more deadlier than in a battery factory !!![]()

A person who double or triple park the vehicle might feel that it is so covenient that there is no reason to park any where else.
Have A Nice Day
I was walking along Taipan by the side of the road passing a lot of double parked cars (moving in & out).Suddenly I got honked from behind.
Some people consider parking at the multi level carpark too expensive.

It also boils down to proper enforcement (clean one la).
do they get fined or cars being towed? no
mind you we get fined for having an expired or no parking ticket while you would not get fine for parking illegally ... different jurisdiction one is council - mpsj; one is traffic polis
so how? like that la. semua boleh
Some people like to try their luck to jump queue, until they meet some nasty roadbully.
Drive safely and be considerate.
It isn't just double-parkers who are nuisance.
There are also people who rather not park in the space but haphazardly in front of shops just so they have the convenience or park straddling on two spaces at one time. I have seen a lot of this in the USJ11/3 area where at time, the parking spaces are empty but there are people double-parking in front of the shops or parking just outside the parking spaces while they hop into the shops.
Then there are also those who are sooo hungry and in such a hurry that they have to park right in front of the nasi-lemak stall in USJ11/4 or in the middle of the road while they buy. I mean, the population here is made up of educated people yet the behaviour barely reflects it. I once had a lady who parked in the middle of the road as I was walking to the stall. She quickly got down and ran towards it so that she can beat me to the queue. It's really asinine. As if it'll make a huge difference with the queue already so long.
