HELP! Any1 know what s the base oil? Is it like Virgin Olive? Canola? Sunflower? Minyak cap buruh? Knife? and if i can find the base oil? where can i buy the essential oil and at what proportion to mix?

Some use baby oil....after smooth skin like a baby.
Virgin Olive oil also can... from pharmacy...
Remember at a China Man one uses Mentholatum (spell correctly?) cream...

One of the most favoured massage oils is sweet almond. You can pick it up at The Body Shop. As for the essential oil, make sure you pick up a PURE oil. As to the type and amount of EOil to use, it depends on your requirement (e.g. detox, relaxation, aching muscles, etc). And it also depends on the oil blends (two or more) and which oil. Reason is that certain oils are very strong and you shouldn't use more than a few drops.Originally Posted by tupai

It's not that I am an expert on aromatherapy but I've taken a correspondence course on this (way before it all became so popular - that was back in the late '70's) and own lots of books on aromatherapy. BTW, I'm not a practising therapist but can help with some suggestions if I know what effect you're after.

What would u suggest for a nice long sleep and where to get it from?

If I can afford it, I would go for a blend of lavender and neroli. Neroli's expensive though so lavender can be mixed with say chamomile. Marjoram's another alternative so long as you are not prone to depression (this oil's reputedly a bad choice for anyone suffering from depression).What would u suggest for a nice long sleep and where to get it from?
One thing you should note when using EO = they're powerful and certain oils can aggravate preexisting/underlying health conditions, thus should be avoided. That said, lavender and chamomile are considered very safe oils and are usually the choice of oil blends for children even. Just Life sells organic lavender and neroli oils (but not every outlet carries the same or complete range). But please be sure to use GOOD quality EO as experiments have proven that EOs are absorbed through the skin! I do have some lavender oil but not neroli. Too expensive for me to indulge.
