LoL, I love reading about your garden! Do post more photos and share here. It's so lovely to have cauliflower, carrot, zucchini from your own garden. If you want to have some kangkung, pak choy, choi sum or any of our local vegies, let me know. I can send you some seeds from here. I don't have the space to grow them here. So it would be nice to see the process of them growing in other's garden.

I will update my dragon fruits and that's for sure.

I once planted kangkung in 3' 0" by 6' 0" corner & they were so many to eat.

The winter veggies are all gone already and now it has been taken over by the summer crops.

At the moment, there are some spaghetti squash but those are hard to take pics of coz they are are hidden by lots of large leaves. There are black bell peppers but not many at the moment, a few green bell peppers, some zucchini, french beans, corn, banana peppers (will take some pics of those soonish) and some jalapenos. What i did take pics of today, is the watermelon. Little baby watermelons are sprouting out here and there.

I had no idea baby watermelons hv fuzz. heehhe One is about an inch big, another about 2" big.

Wow, LadyOL!! I have never seen a water-melon growing from a plant. Fascinating! Could you post more photos please? When the melon gets heavy, how does the plant support its weight? Does melons hang from trees? Is it even a tree? Nah... a shrub maybe? Thanks for sharing. More photos please?

Thanks for your interest VP. The melons are growing so fast that it is almost double the size it was yesterday. Hubby planted the Sugar Baby variety that wont be very big. I will take more pics of the plant for u to see tomorrow.

Heirloom Banana Peppers.... almost ready to be plucked. I will pickle them after they are picked.

Black bellpepper.. sorry the pic isnt very good coz they are in a caged bed and there are so many leaves blocking, so i can't get a proper view of it. If my neighbors see me squatting all over the yard in weird angles, they will wonder what on earth i am up to. There are also green bell peppers but i cant get to them.

Early Girl tomatoes pictured here. There are also Roma tomatoes, Yellow Pear tomatoes and something else i cant remember at the moment at another side of the yard.

Two types of cucumber, white and green cucumbers

French beans (they are called green beans here tho)

Gosh! I am so inspired by your photos. Black bellpeppers? I haven't even heard of those. Tell me about your soil. How do you "prepare" your soil to plant these vegs? Potting mix?

Ok.. i decided to put a tape measure next to some of the veggies so u get an idea of their size, and will continue to take more pics later on to compare.

First the Heirloom Sweet Banana Peppers

    Spaghetti squash

    Strawberry

One of the hens.. (compared to the squash in the background)

    Watermelon

    Plant view of the watermelon

    Okra/lady's fingers

    Pear tomatoes

    Cherry tomatoes

Oh.. i should take some more pics of the whole view so u can see how all those plants hv been cramped up into 3 veggie beds.
Mick, at the moment the yard is a mess. Still working on making a fishpond, so there is a big hole in there , and mounds of dirt at the side.

VP, my hubby filled up those raised beds with potting soil, and it is recommended to add some worm casings or whatever fertilizer to prepare the beds. The original soil is sooo hard in our yard so the raised beds are necessary. Besides, the doggie pee is so horrible that our grass dies in patches. siighhh..

Ok.. here are the 2 views of the veggie beds.

The middle veggie bed has okra, eggplant, snow peas and bell peppers as well.

The left bed has black bell peppers, jalapenos and french beans but they are a bit crowded in there to see.
