Danger at Taman Perindustrian UEP traffic lights
I' m not sure if everyone agrees, as a resident in USJ, i find that the authorities / municipal council are a bunch of very strange creatures with weird mentality
Here is my points:-
1. From 1 miserable speed bump at Pesiaran Setia - main road heading towards USJ 3A(which doesn't help at all those days) to Traffic lights and these set of lights are placed right in the entrance of Taman Perindustrian UEP ( i'm a PR at TP, now i call it Taman Traffic Lights before this i call it the lost Taman of USJ because we never had fogging or roads retared since i moved in 2002) Mind you there are vehicles just drive through without giving 2 hoots about it even when the lights are red!
2.Stalls before the traffic lights which creates more danger to all road users including those walking (Don't believe me? Come see for yourselfs at 6.50pm when school finishes) These die hard goreng pisang lovers will simply park their cars and then you have vehicles exiting USJ 12 will have a hard time getting across to the lights to make a U-Turn, Then there are these 'SELFISH' parents who quardaple park to wait for their kids from 6.30pm and then the other set of vehicles from USJ 4 trying to get over to USJ 12.
I honestly feel that the planner of this particular stretch (Pesiaran Setia) is from a jungle? Where there are no vehicles or has made someone rich? You know what i mean.....
Well it's only fair if i give my 2 sens worth:-
1. Move the 'Goreng Pisang' stalls further down after the exisisting traffic lights.
2. Move the traffic lights up to USJ 12 entrance(it may be tight but it would solve the problems. Here the cars can cut straight to USJ 3&4.) Block the centre divider, vehicles from USJ 3&4 will have to turn left towards the traffic lights to make a u turn to get to USJ 12.
3.Selfish parents can't park their cars as they wish while waiting for school to be over so there will be no jam. (actually that's my wish knowing these 'kiasu' people who couldn't careless for others it will never come through..)
