    Sg. Liang Ride and Camp

Just to share some snap shots from my recent ride and camp in Sg. Liang, Raub. Happy viewing!

Trail widen now for logging. Don't know if it's legal or illegal. The last yr when we're there, it's a nice shady single track.

    Bridge crossings.

    The river/stream.

A group of hardcore 4x4 were already there when we reached the campsite. Took them 6hrs to reach the campsite. We're faster by 3hrs!. Hehe.

The gang enjoying the cool water after a day of riding. ~17km of gradual climbs. Not that easy considering you carry with you ~3liters of water in addition of tent, foods etc.

My shoes, the sole survivor of the raging river the night before. 2 pairs of shoes was swept off. As you can see, the current is still strong. Had to be really careful when crossing the river on the way back.

My friend, Fred had his foot stuck in the mud. Trail was badly damaged by the 4x4s.

Met some orang asli kids on the way back. I think the girl in white has a civet cat as her pet.

My poor bike after the ride. Such a muddy ride, at one time my wheel was like a Big Apple donut! A real test for the bike components.

    More pics here... Sg. Liang
