    Wink Saver / Air conds

    Hi,

Mine still works..it cuts down electricity
drawn by about 1 tp 2 amps..when running 2.5 HP
    aircond units.

For aircond units, look at the specifications
to find brands that draw the least running current
but gives u highest BTU cooling units.

    CHeers!

    Cool

    M using Toshiba..imported model..specs show
running current was lowest compared to other brands with max BTU cooling power. (6 yrs ago..)
Another thing to cut down yr elec consumption is
to get a higher BTU rating unit for the room. My
master bedroom uses 1.5 HP whereas the aircond guy says a 1 HP can also be used. 1.5 HP unit compressor is not running all the time trying to cool yr room down. Saves elec....
Re saver, price not important..mine cost RM300..
but the RM80 unit might also work...
Make sure b4 buying to see demo of unit working.
with elec loads connected nn contraption off, note
current consumption. Then switch on saver unit,
make sure elec current drops by about 1 to 2 amperes.
    hope this helps u...
