    Mr Rajiv

These pictures were taken in front of Sun Inns at PJS 11/2 (I think that is the name of the road). Some enterprising people, possibly the restaurant people have cordoned off the whole stretch of road and made it into a car park, charging people RM3 per entry. Can they do this and have the blessing of MSPJ? I thought it is a public road.

I could presume he's likely one of many who's keep distance from this forum. Reasons? your guess is as good as mine.

Let us see how you can match up to Rajiv
You being around since 2000 amounts to nothing unless you walk like Rajiv

    Hi Rajiv,

I am staying iCurb Rocks 2.jpgn UJS6 near the junction of USJ 6/4 & USJ6/2A. Contractors come here with excavators every now and then to dig along the road at night, displacing and leaving the curb blocks scattered around which is unsightly and hazardous to road users and pedestrians. I have taken pictures and reported to the Hotline dept in person 3 weeks ago but he(one Ganesh) refused to log in the case. instead, he asked me to call the hotline when the contractor comes again. Any faster means to resolve this? Thanks. Curb Rocks 1.jpgCurb Rocks 2.jpg

    Hi Rajiv,

Not sure if this issue is under your scope of responsibility but I thought I would bring it up anyway. I live in USJ 23 and there is a school nearby. Now, while during the week, noise from the school is tolerable, it becomes frustrating and annoying when weekends are not spared either.

Right now, the PA system is booming and some sporting activity is going on. It started at 7.30am this morning. My whole household literally jumped out of bed in shock from the pounding booming noise from the PA system coupled with the screaming kids.

If this is a once a year thing, it is ok but from what I understand, the school is rented out during the weekends for other schools to hold their sporting activities etc. So what happens is, practically every weekend, residents in USJ23 and possibly USJ 27 as well are jolted out of slumber on Saturday and Sunday mornings by marching bands, bad commentating on booming PA systems, horrible music and cheers n jeers.

I want to know, if this is allowed in a residential area? Renting out a school's premises during weekends for sporting/outdoor activities that involve the use of a PA system? If it is, do you know whose a$$ I should light a fire under for allowing such a thing?

I called the school to find out the name of the principal but the man who answered refused to give me the name.

Can I make a police report for public disturbance every weekend when they start blaring the PA system?

We have lived here for over 12 years now but since last year especially, the frequency of weekend events held in the school have increased rapidly. The worst so far has been the past 3 weeks, each weekend something has been on in the school.

We work the whole week and when you think you can get a little rest on the weekend, you can't because this blooming school wakes up the whole neighbourhood on the weekend at 7am and tortures us till noon.

Please tell me what to do and if you can help.

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Noise pollution is the under the jurisdiction of the police, not MPSJ. I think this is something you can raise with our IPD Subang Jaya, but before this haven't heard complaints of this nature... This should be similar elsewhere, as all schools in Subang Jaya are built in housing areas...

Drain repair between SS 15 /5F and 5G

Drain repair between SS 15 /5F and 5G. I wonder what happened to the contractor of the drain repair. Seems like they have dugged out part of the culvert along the drain and made a mess of the place. Wonder if they have abandoned it? They have really taken a long time to do a small job like this.

Hope you can assist and look into this. Thanks.
