This is one part that cud help, another wud be to allow traffic from Subang/USJ Heights to exit to the Kesas H/way whereby there wud be no need to crowd into the internal roads in USJ. Your main challenge wud be to convince the authorities to agree to the proposal, whereby the LLM wud be party who will eventually have to approve. But, pushing this will have to come from various angles - Local authority, state authority, town and country planners. Your initial step will be to convince the local authority (MPSJ) to take it up.
I'm definitely going to bring up this idea

Most of the places, would not require any ramp but to cut off the center divider into lanes. Its better described here

We also need the members of the community raise the issue with the relevant authorities; to have dialog sessions with the community leaders here and around on what's being done, and what can be do to mitigate the impact of those sky-scrappers flying into SJ/USJ and how to alleviate the sufferings of the residents and members of the community.
If we just sit and wait, all kinds of undesirable solutions will be thrown to us. To start with, they may not be the desirable solutions.

By that time all that can be done is just talk and talk and protest and protest, and look at all those projects that were so called 'planned' by the authorities... did they think of the consiquences to the residents here?

Here, I am proposing that we, as members of the community, look at the bigger picture, rather than each one of us looking only at their backyards and then fire-fight when the flame is in their backyard. You know better for what I mean, dont' you, m? Let's pool together our resources, to work for the better of the whole community rather than narrowly thinking only of what is in front and at the back. Hope to see your support on the bigger picture...
...and I hope all members of this community will support this call. Let's hear from Rajiv, what can be done to bring this up the MPSJ as a starting point. He said he will 'definately' bring it up. Now we need to support him as he brings it up in the MPSJ as it shud be within the jurisdiction of the infrastructure and road planning committees under MPSJ. Let's hear from him what the timeline like...

This is an important item that needs to be address. To allow Bomba also means allow trucks of similar height right? How do you reconcile these?

I have to now negotiate along Jalan kemajuan from the Federal Highway and make a U-turn in front of Carrefore or go straight along Jalan SS 16/1 to the road between Carrefore and Subang Parade (and meet idotic people who block the left lane with their cars) before turning into the small road where I will meet people trying to illegally turn out from Carrefore or meet taxis going against traffic from e-Tiara after dropping off passengers. When I negotiate pass Subang Avenue, there is only a small lane in the middle as cars are parked illegally on both sides of the road. I find it now very difficult to enter my e-Tiara partmrent each time. I have asked my management and they kept telling me that the traffic management is under the purview of the MPSJ. Is there no end in sight? I kept bringing this up and Hannah Yeoh, Theresa Ratnam and yourself have not provided any concrete solution. Only you people have the power and will to solve this traffic problem before the Subang Avenue complex opens. I am tired of bringing this up all the time.

Believe me, I understand how frustrating it is, as I also face the same no results. However, this is not my zone, I will continue to remind Mdm Theresa.

There will be a site visit between Pejabat Adun, MPSJ and JKR next week to look into this junction.

No, the answer in a city is public transport. What we are doing now with traffic lights, one way streets, etc should also be seen as a temporary measure as we work towards improving public transport, and start using public transport ourselves.

Well, at 2.5m, the trucks won't be able to go thru. It'll remain 2.5m for now.

Rajiv, do ensure that this NO right turn from ss19/6 to Tujuan, is carved in stone.

It only the lazy people who always baby-cry for the convenient, when the U-turn is not 500m away!

This NO right turn solved a traffic problem that was there for years! This decision to make it NO right turn is one of the best traffic decision made by MPSJ in years!

Terima Kasih MPSJ for this NO right turn from ss19/6 to Tujuan. *tabikspring*

    thanks.

Trucks entering Tmn Perindustri UEP via USJ / SJ.

I was following two trucks which entered the Tmn Perindustri UEP (Industrial Zone) via Pers. Setia. See! These trucks are also causing traffic slowdown, when using USJ main roads to get into the industrial areas. And it is during the peak hours... at between 7:00pm and 7:30pm.

Earlier, on my way out from USJ to Puchong at about 6:30pm, again there were few trucks heading towards the traffic junction at Jln Puchong-Hicom just below the flyover.

If an entrance can be provided from Kesas into the industrial zone, they do not need to congest the already heavy traffic USJ roads. And it will be to everyone's delight

And I have also seen trucks from the Federal H/way entering into USJ all the way along Pers. Tujuan. Presume they are entering the Industrial Zones (Tmn Perindustri UEP) as well. These trucks also cause congestion along the main SJ and USJ thoroughfares.
