Was at Mentakab, Pahang on assignment. Reached there 9am.. had an excellent Nasi Lemak Sotong at Restoran Maria, locals know this place well.
RM4.00m generous plate of NL rice, sotong and a fried egg as standard fare. LOVELY b/f to start the day!.
The famous one at Temerloh town, a little overated in price and portion. Not going there anymore though I still think its an edge over this one mentioned.
These two kinds of Nasi Lemak IS NOT found nor the same as in KL or anywhere else in Klang Valley. This is unique recipe only found in here in Temerloh-Mentakab for decades.
If only I could cook this and sell..I'm cocksure its can be a great hit. No joke!
The one at USJ9... Urgggggggggggggggggggggggggg!...just cannot swallow it anymore leh! Perhaps a heap of monotony have crept into me.

Took an early MAS flight back and had their nasi lemak. Quite good for an airline food. I prefer the chicken rendang than udang though.
