    My maid just runaway!!!

    what should i do? i have make police report, next step?

    agent is suck! called yesterday 10 times no reply, after sms maid runaway, she call back ask why? when? i fxxx her not to asking me, just tell me what should i do? she promise me will call back this morning...

    only works 120 days, can i get back money? i've pay 6 months salary

    lately i did not have a choice but help an indo maid,neighbours maid make a run,she was abused almost everyday felt so sorry for her.

    everyday crying man, no food to eat everyday day complaining of stomache pain, what can i do fora person not treated like a human being, this is not the first maid that has happen 6 of them during the the last 2 years,same story its sickening.She ran away without being paid somemore.

    i give my maid own room, 3 meals a day not bread or maggi. her job only wash clothes, dishes, take care for my baby.

    I've to sleep with my childs, 10.30pm she already sleep till 6.30am

    honestly we treat her not bad, when we out to shopping have lunch/ dinner, we also order meal for her everytime, as i saw lots of maid just sit / stand there only

    My bro-in-law's maid was reported by her agency as 'single' and she was treated extremely well too. Her pay was banked into her own Maybank account etc but my bro-in-law keeps the passbook etc.

    During one day just before a Hari Raya, she got a visit from an Indon man. On questionning, she said it was her busband???

    The night before Raya, when she asked to go out for prayers and she never came back...

    Imagine, she left with all her 9 months pay (RM4,500) still in the bank... I wonder whats on her mind? A Malaysian MyKAD soon?

    Andre128, its just bad luck lah... go make a police report and work out a replacement deal with the agency and life goes on lah... its happening everyday everywhere in this country just that this time the dice spun in your direction. Just take it as bad luck and life goes on lah...

    agent never call back!!! never told me where should i go for this! just told me go myself after police report

    err..andrea ah, I assume u ave an indon maid, nowadays indon maids quality r not so good, they ave a good life there n expect to be treated like a queen, ur nightmare ave just begun, I had a runaway maid, one blur sotong (blurer than most sotong u find in this forum) that got sent back n lastly a maid who accuse me of abuse her after reading newspaper about it and i got haul up to police station n been advice to send her back (which she happily agree to)without making too much trouble (or paper work for our polici force), so no more indon, philip, kampu, cina maid for me, only employ a part time local maid to wash, iron, vacum, mop, clean toilet who come twice a week n live happily ever after.

    never employ a full time maid before, but lots of horror story from relatives and friends...

    tried weekly part time from a company the service is ok...
    some how its too troublesome to have myself standby at home to wait for the 2~4 hours task...

    now all done by me and wife, later train up the kids to do so...
    but guess this is harder than hire a maid... :P

    Those days our parents with 7 or8 kids eventhough employed did not have any maids and they survived..nowdays parents have too much money and pampered lot..me have no maid so no unnecessary stress.
