USJ Summit - Dynasty Dragon Tim Sum Promotion

Noticed there is a promotion on Tim Sum at the above restaurant.

any try it before ?

how is the food quality, services and environment ??

Has anyone tried this place? Would really like to know QC? So far, have been having my dim sum at USJ20, Hoong Loong (something like that) - would really like to have an alternative venue in case need to go upmarket for busines enetrtainments from my usual "cheap, nice and dirty haunts"

I've tried it before. Environment quite good......the dim sum (promotion) period is quite worth it.....can't remember the price now...

The quality of the dim sum is on the high side..service as well...

The have reserved some parking spots for customers right in front of the restaurant....just remove the signs and park.

Tried last Sunday.

Went there at 10.15am.

Not crowded, only about 6-7 tables occupied.

service is fast, place is clean.

tim sum reasonable good, RM 3.80 each.

total bill for Tim sum, 9 person comes to RM 95, which is reasonable.

the killer is the noodles, cost RM60 for scallop noodles.

other than that, if you stick with Tim Sum, it should be very much cheaper than Tai Thong.

I am an early person and prefer to yum cha in early morning say 7am-8am. what are the opening hours especially on weekends?

There's another halal tim sum at PNB Darby Park KL, Minmax restaurant. Roughly RM2.90 a plate for a number of many on the menu, there's others at priced a margin more. Choose carefully if you're on a budget.
Google the restaurant name, where some have blogged about it. I went there last month, not bad at all. 6 pax at RM80+

eat at Darby park a month ago.

it is quite pack, so if you are going in a group, call early to book.

no doubt halal, the food taste reasonably good... in fact you don't notice the difference.

price wise, at RM 2.80 for most of the serving, it is a steal.

DYNASTY DRAGON dim-sum is halal? Please confirm, if yes, then I will give it a miss, siu mai, char siew pau and pai kuat (all non-halal dishes) don't taste as nice replaced by chicken

Unless they are serving vegeterian suckling pig or chicken siew yok in their menu, I don't believe it is halal.

Just checked - NON-HALAL DIM-SUM seriously, with due respect to our fellow Muslim Malaysians, - certain dim sum items just don't taste as nice or the same with chicken or prawns.

Will let you all know what I think after this weekend - hopefully the Dynasty mgmt is reading this and will BUTTER me up a bit come this weekend, say 50% discount or extra large .... portions will do I am not greedy - just hungry !!

Speak for yourself man and not an appropriate comment. Why don't you tell Baker's Cottage who daily sells chicken siew pow (which I find very good!) its a joke? You know food taste is very subjective and to each his own and moreover for personal reasons. Live and let live lah, where its mostly personal preference. If "jet" says that Darby Park restaurant is usually packed, then all their customers could be plain silly ah?...
