Sometimes I think its a good venue for weekend flea market, should there be good event management, like another Amcorp Mall? Summit area (they've tried and failed before) is just too cluttered and congested.
yes, Great idea.. All can participate to sell off items that is good but no longer want them to be in the house.. I want to participate..
Its been about a year since DIGIMALL kicked off but I observe its yet to make an impact. I think already one store closed down and I really don't know how long the others may survive there. Most daytime, its such a sleepy hollow. I just wonder if the property management is observing the phenomenon. Tough! Amcorp Mall did the right strategy otherwise it would have been also another sleepy hollow in PJ. I think its the busiest mall in PJ on weekends. Every weekend I see hundreds of regulars there especially on Sunday, including me, more or less.
Yeah...my friend's hp/it shop also tutup. Business was very bad. Weekdays during office hours pretty quiet.Originally Posted by bslee
BS, didnt know you too go to Amcorp Mall! What looking for? Vinyls?![]()
I go there like its a weekend picnic. I'm there with an open mind and there's ocassionally things on the cheap that are worth buying once a while, not entirely vinyl everytime. Not too long ago I found a realitively brand new made for Tesco UK plastic cordless electric kettle for only RM25. There's lots of used books for sale too at reasonable prices. I do meet lots of regular friends there and we'll have quite a nice time there. Sunday's NOT wasted at all. I really don't know if Digimall here can ever emulate the phenomenon at Amcorp. For one, it can be just too far away from KL-PJ, whereas Amcorp is factually quite strategic.Originally Posted by patrick

Don't understand you. Its not so bad as if the place is diseased.Originally Posted by Carolrasiah
I still go to Carrefour S/mart there as its more convenient and nearer to me where I reside. I've always said, the big Care4 is just out of the way and WRONG side of the road. Going all the way there just to buy a thing or two is just plainly absurd. I won't go there unless there's a real need to or on my way back into Subang. BTW, the smaller Care4 barang is priced slightly higher than its mothership. I don't understand why. (of course everyone can say, rental??) I really don't know. Speed99 chain of provision mini marts maintain their prices across the board (including offers) wherever they are, which is why they're quite successful.
Go and give it a trylah..... never try never know...if we are not supporting, then who else. I stop going hunting for simple computer stuff, since the opening of Digi Mall.
Its very convenient![]()
Yes, perhaps for USJ folks. But I think ONE great discouragement is the tolled roads in n out of Puchong. If the tolls weren't there I think visitors can be aplenty. You see.. TOLLED roads ARE of great injustice and the regime thinks its a great implementation!..Originally Posted by VeeJay
it's not accessible last time I checked. Someone told me the building was grandfathered in...approved before accessibility has become a "requirement"Originally Posted by Carolrasiah
No covered pedestrian walkway either. If you park outside you have to walk on the parking lot/driving lanes...
On the other hand, it would make a great place for a bus hub...

It's better to be poor than to be rich. The rich always have to fear becoming poor, but the poor never have to fear becoming rich.
Not everything is more expensive than the Hypermarket Carrefour. Some items actually sell cheaper. The fluorescent tubes, if i was not mistaken, were one ringgit cheaper than the ones in Subang for some reason. not sure about now.![]()
i also try to shop there as much as possible... hopefully it won't be another Niu Xe Shui.... I like the flea market ideas... or better yet, Carrefour buys the entire second floor.. turn it into a hypermarket... or create a food court or something..... (just my wishful thinking la...)
personally there's so few makan places in USJ compared to Kota Damansara.... so many great food just on one street.... USJ.... all scattered.... and somemore the traffic jam and not enough parking spaces... makan also tekanan jiwa.....
to me, Taipan is a nightmare lah... double parking/triple parking/quadruple parking.... really hate going there.
Digital Mall has ample underground parking space... very easy... should make good use of it.... but that's just me la.
