Then there are people who don't read road signages - such as no entry, one-way street, ...you get the idea la.
Yup... lots of them on the road and they behave like they are the only ones on the road. It is sad that despite the traffic police getting new police bikes like the worldc-lass Honda ST1300P, these bikes are mostly used to do escort duties for VVIPs instead of enforcement duties... that is why all these drivers know they can get away committing all these offences...
Those days when one drove down Federal Highway to work or back, there were always police outriders appearing alongside every now and then and drivers were aware of their presence and avoid doing silly things... where are these cops now?

Anything can cause a jam in our blessed country. I just drove through The Federal highway and there is a massive jam building up.

Reason: Few Hindus are having a little religious/makan gathering at a site near the Federal Highway before the Cycle and Carriage. An occassion like this also can cause a Sunday jam, so what do you expect from our drivers, real busy bodies!!!!

That was why they built the netting that separated both sides of the lanes along the Penang Bridge. This was, I was told, to prevent traffic jams on one side of the bridge as a result of accident on the other side.

So, when people (inconsiderate busy bodies) cannot slow down and see whats happening on the other side or try to decipher the registration numbers for their Magnum/Damacai, there should be less traffic jams... silly and a waste of money, you might say, but it worked well.... but tourists cannot see the beautiful sights from the bridge because of this metal divider!

Then the authorities should implement these low concrete barriers thingy... One surefire way of getting rid of bad, irresponsible drivers, PERMANENTLY!!

Darn motorcycle bypass lanes at tollbooths are bloody death traps, the lanes are so UNEVEN and the blindspot in other areas are so sharp, there is no way in hell, you'd catch me doing anything more than 60km/h those lanes...

Night time is another story... will use the highway itself... if kena tahan, saman is only RM30 [compound] but most of the time the cops would give a verbal warning and tell you to be extra careful on the highway....

They know/aware about the hidden dangers on those bike lanes at night...

I have problem manouvering my GW in the lane next to the Subang toll booth. I have always pass theru the most left lane at the edge. Sometimes I set off the alarm at the booth - so much fun.... they deserve this once a while because of the stupid design for the bike lane. But they don't really give 2 hoot coz bikes don't pay toll and use their highways for free.... reminds me of the Huey Lewis song... "money for nothing and chicks for free...."
