We Really Need To Help Yvonne

Many of us in this forum know Yvonne Foong personally. She is a forumer as well and she stays here amongst us.

She has written several times asking for help and some of us did help out. However, when I read this BLOG today, a sense of guilt overcame me.

Hey, Yvonne is one of us and we are seeing other bloggers (Ktemoc is Penang-based blogger) rallying to do things for her.

Perhaps we should all rally once again and raise as much money to save her eyesight.

Patrick, your help is needed here as Treasurer. I will start the ball rolling here with a RM100 pledge.

Thank you Sentinel for initiating a fundraising drive here in USJ.COM.MY.

This tumor next in concern is called a Trigone Meningioma. If treatment is delayed, it can cause a painful and potentially fatal condition called Hydrocephalus. I am raising funds for surgery with my Neurosurgeon who was specifically trained to surgically remove this tumor. If I let untrained surgeons remove it, I might very well suffer the loss of my right field of vision (Hemianopsia) in the least. Since my left eye was born under-developed, we must do all we can to preserve my right eye.

I'd benefit from contributions of any amount. Thank you in advance.

p/s: I have several hundred t-shirts and more than a rthousand copies of my book here so if you guys want to organize a fundraiser, I'd be most happy to participate!

Yvonne, perhaps one day when you're back from the USA we can all get together at one of the TT sessions and you can then pass a T-shirt each to every donor here from usj.com.my.
