    Maybank - KawanKu?

I have installed a credit card machine and unknowingly there is a glitch over a technical issue which was an errornous on the part of the bank.
The bank was duly informed of that and yet, the responses from the bank was like going to Govt dept. Nobody knows what was going on. Spoke to at least five persons, but was clueless. Each persons give different reasons for the glitches.
And the best part was, when I told the last executive, the bank service is not customer oriented and wishy washy, I might terminate the service, Encik Syed of the technical dept said, Ok, you can do that!
I was trying to tell the Maybank that the glitch is the company problem which should be addressed to because it is causing inconvenience to the users of the machine, they just didnt seem to care like a Kawan Ku like what they advertised.
In fact, before I upload this message, the phone was forever busy just like the telephones lines stated on the machine reader.
    Kawan KU macam Gomen KU.

    .
They are govt linked companies (same as Tenaga, TM) ie. their bowl is iron and unbreakable.

For better customer service, go to Public bank voted Number one private bank, you will see the huge difference.

maybank is a coffee shop bank. they r in every corner and the convenience of the atm is second to none. They also have about the latest softwares in their dealings...moral of this story? Just deal with the atm machines +internet banking with mbb and u will be satisfied.
The mbb staff people? hahahaha...a joke lah. Majority has a gomen attitude and a tiday apa if u go elsewhere style.
I can tell u a comprehensive research I did 16years ago on mbb but I wont...suffice to say, the mbb people has merely 'improved' maybe 1 notch.hahahah... 1world banking 3 world staffing!

Actually, the problem I had was the machine which doesnt have the features which it should have in the first place for the user. I duly informed the Kawan KU of that, and the response I got was not so Kawan Ku. More like Gomen Ku. They questioned me this and that like who I spoke to when I installed the machine ( which was a year back!) and said that they would bring this up to the mangement.
Told them I am just a chef, all I can remember is at least 365 recipes in my head. I told them the problem is their machine glitch problem which should be retified to avoid errornous readings.
What I was asking they should avoid this for new card customers in the future and rightfully I should know who and what would be done, Not just some lips service to brush off my complaint.
BTW, I was trying to call the number even way before I posted this, the number was still in busy engaging mode. Sudah 1 jam lebih lah.The number is 03 2772 7500. Busy engaging in customers, or some kawans?

You see, this makes a difference when it opens up for competition. Maybank Singapore is rather efficient. Last year, I opened an account with them. I called to ask for linking both my Malaysia & Singapore Maybank accounts via Internet Banking. The girl who picked up my call was not certain about the procedures. She told me she will get back. Less than 10 minutes, a guy called but unfortunately I wasn’t at my office to login to internet so that I can follow thru the procedure instead I copied on a piece of paper. When I got back to my office, I login to Maybank Internet banking but I wasn’t sure. Again I called, the operator got me to speak to the same guy without much waiting. What I like most about Maybank is that (not advertising), every transaction I did via my Malaysia account; I will get a SMS in return as a confirmation. Best of all, I do not need to wait at queue line to transfer money to my Malaysia account.

Maybank, KL gave me a lot of problems and I must have spoken to at least 8 pegawai-- all in vain for 5 weeks....each one of them will reply your email with a single name --as if hiding behind something & they played Tai Chee all the times ( lucky, I had deleted all their replies or else I would have reproduced them here)

They never think there are problems in Maybank.

Finally it was settled by a very junior staff in KK

fully agree. if u dun have to deal with human being then the experience can be 1derful. There seemed to be some improvement in service after absorbed staff from phileo and pacific .. so quality you face will be like playing russian roulette.

Yes, My Kawan KuKu. I like it. And I will add MSG to make it nice - My Kawan KuKu Kutu.
I am glad that I posted the matter here. I was fussy about excellence of customers service. But the Tai Chi attitude is appalling like what describe by Naka makes us wonder about the No 1 Bank.
Singapore Maybank experience may be professional, because they practice Only 1Singapore either the gomen or private sector. It is the citizen attitude where they take a quality expectation.

BTW, sorry to convenience you when the machine was out of service. Luckily, you have the besk Banker of ALL,- Cash Bank.

To open an account with Maybank Singapore is quite easy. Min amount for Passbook Savings account is S$200. For i-Savings account, min amount is S$500. As long as you maintain above the min amount, Maybank Singapore will not charge you $2 monthly service fees.
